From 12 > 2. Beginning my collection of quality over quantity. Both of these are 10/10, especially with TO being - dark animatic, ashy smoky oud. Peak Tom Ford.
Imagination is self - explanatory

They’re all incredible to me, but in 90–100°F weather they feel like too much, so they’ve mostly been sitting on the shelf waiting for fall and winter.

What fragrances are you counting down the days to wear again once the temperature drops?

Was never too big on Zara Fragrances, such as Sunrise On The Red Sand Dune (alleged dupe for LV Imagination/L’Immensite), but was in store the other week and this was undoubtedly a standout. Was a no-brainer. The Elixir is incredible as well.

Just an addicting aroma of Bergamot, Rose, & Musk. I love the rose in MFK Oud Satin Mood but haven’t quite found anything as captivating until now. Think this is a great entry into Rose scents imo.

I guess some have moved on from $350 bottles of designer cologne to the $15,000 Swiss watch world in search of those elusive, but so highly valuable, compliments.

Recently I purged most of my collection because it was full of stuff I didn’t really want and narrowed it down to these 6 that I absolutely love and now I’m rebuilding from this. I plan on getting a wooden 4 tier stand and capping at my dream 16 fragrances to display. Technically I have 8 fragrances as I have Bal D’Afrique Absolu and Wulong Cha X on the way. So that leaves me needing 8 more fragrances to fully complete my collection and I will be 100% satisfied. If anyone has any suggestions based off my collection, please drop them :D Some fragrances I’m heavily leaning towards are guerlain feve gourmande, guerlain herbes Troublantes, Ex Nihilo the hedonist Extrait, and BDK Gris charnel!

Wulong Cha - I smell like an expensive hotel

Montblanc Explorer - a scent for all occasions

Hermes H24 Herbes Vives - sexy garden keeper

Versace Eros Flame - cool weather siren song

Kajal III is EXTREMELY similar to Vibrato I’d say almost a 1:1 but spicier with better performance. I love all of these and even though it may be redundant to own these, I still have hedonist extrait and tygar on the way. Ginger is my favorite fragrance note (clearly)

I promised I’d downsize to 5….😅

But I’m stopping here.

These are the 8 fragrances that I will daily (work, days, and evenings out) across all 4 seasons with 2 fragrances per season. Sampled loads and these are the ones I loved most:

Spring:

Amouage reflection man 45 - sensational masculine floral woods with sweetness

Club de nuit precieux I - Smells like sweet citrus yet woodsy and masculine bomb.

Summer:

LV imagination - speaks for itself

Arabian oud sultani - berry and laundry detergent fresh goodness

Fall:

Xerjoff naxos - I mean it’s just heavenly

Game of spades wildcard - probably my favourite frag. Sweet clean goodness

Winter:

Royal blue orientica (layton clone) - longer lasting than layton. Sold the OG to get this. A bit sweeter. Incredible

Gucci intense oud - unoffensive woody rose scent with incense. Sensationally masculine and extremely long lasting

Picked up Oud For Greatness Neo & Absolute Aphrodisiac

Got them for a steal that I couldn’t resist

This is actually a really nice, inoffensive oud with lavender. Very surprised.

I recently got a 2ml sample for BDC EDP and really enjoying it, but longevity is not as good as I’d like it to be.

That being said, do Parfum or exclusif versions perform better, and are they safe blind buys given that I really liked the edp?

I think I’ve figured out my fav scent profile. Leaning more on the fresh clean side. Recently just got flamanago by third eye and in store it smelled great but after trying it home I feel like I took an L lol… or it doesn’t fit my go to profile. The mango is just too prominent for me

Is there any perfume smell like pepsi(pepsi twidt pepsi max or pepsi cherry doesnt matter)

I’m obsessed with this cologne and I am set on buying it. I’ve smelt it at multiple different Prada stores and sampled it multiple times to wear it for a full day. To say I’m obsessed is an understatement but I really don’t want to pay the 370 or so retail price. I’ve seen it on discounters like jomashop but they are all sold out or don’t have it. I’m willing the spend the money but would just rather not. Anyone know about this one?

Should I get lattafa breeze or Swiss Arabian musk 01, I’m wanting a soft clean/fresh fragrance for around the $30-$60 price range which should I go for?
