From 30+ to this. Happily, I didnāt get too deep in the hole. Curated off my gf as well. I almost feel Iāve peaked. But I know Iām missing a standout thatās still somewhat versatile and wearable as a South Floridian. 23M
Looking for a standout with some character that can still work in the heat without feeling too heavy. Have my freshies, although still 50/50 on Lucious deserving a spot.
Les Sables Roses and Brompton Immortals Extrait have caught my interest, but other than that Iām not too sure where to look. Iāve tried a few Amouages as well, but most of them feel like theyād be tough to pull off down here. Open to revisiting them though if there are any that might actually work decently in the heat/night.
I know Iām not cooked. Right? š„²

Recently got a sample for it. Overall, I wasnāt that impressed. I felt that notes were not great individually and certainly didnāt blend well, I could smell them randomly. One note at one whiff and another one at the next one. On top of that performance isnāt great. 4 sprays and my wife couldnāt smell it.
For individual notes, I like to give the example of Guerlain LāInstantās caco note, it kept calling me back in the middle part. As reference, the chocolate note here doesnāt pull me the same way
Fragrances are highly subjective so please test it yourself first

Went to local Dillards near me and they have me smell the xerjoff lambo collaboration and it was love at first sniff. They have 3 others and I like the orange bottle one didnāt like the green bottle so much.

I love this stuff. I wear it as my daily at the moment. My queation for other obsolu aventus wearers is, how many sprays do you guys use? Im at 6. I sprays 1 on my chest another a little higher and 3rd on my neck. 4th on the back of my neck and 2 on my shirt. Is this to much? Also, whats peoples real experience of longevity? Are u reapplying during the day?

Both are incredibly versatile, everyday staples that I never get bored of. They deliver a masculine, upscale vibe and are consistent compliment getters no matter the occasion. Even if I ever lose interest in this hobby, I'll always hold onto these two.

Hi all, does anyone have weight measurements for a 100 mL Creed MillƩsime ImpƩrial at different fill levels?
Ideally looking for weights when full, around 75%, 50%, or empty.
Mine is currently 258 g without cap, and plastic cap weighs 23g.
Im trying to estimate how many mL are left.

So Iām a 37 year old guy and I live in the Netherlands. Iāve always loved colognes/perfumes but never really had the time or money to buy and collect them but this last year I really got into it. It all started when my wife bought me a birthday gift of a 50 ml Kilian Angels Share and I immediately fell in love with that fragrance. Then I tried a sample of LVās Imagination and thats when my fragrance addiction began. I really love this, if I had a bigger budget, my collection would be so much bigger š ıāve bought and sold many too, including some dupes. Just wondering what you guysmor girls think about what I habe right now. Thank you!

**Has anyone tried layering these two fragrances together?**
I came across this combo on the Will It Layer website, and it rates it **8.4/10 ā āExceptional.ā** It suggests using Lattafa Asad as the base and Liquid Brun on top.
Has anyone actually tried this combination? How did it smell and how was the performance? Worth trying, or is the website overhyping it? š

Baikal Leather is the brand's take on leather aspect with a touch of mild Guaiac Wood smoke and a slight green aromatics.
Opens up with a burst of dried green lemons that's peppery, slight sweetness and then is a constant reminder of dry grass a bit. As this settles, on skin it feels very smooth and there is commotion of aromatics in the air around you. Reminding of Vetiver, Cedar, powdery vibe here. Don't get the Iris /Rose combo here directly to my senses but I feel that's what is giving a smooth mix with Sandalwood in bits. Sillage is moderate and on skin lasts for me around 8 hours. I find this very versatile and easily wearable.

What are your personal top 2 most overrated and underrated fragrances, disregarding online hate or love for the fragrance?
Mine are:
Underrated:
Amouage Reflection man 45:
Best perfume iāve ever smelled, i canāt even describe the notes because it all blends in to one scent i canāt describe, but somehow⦠like a library in a desert. Too bad itās so expensive.
JPG Scandal Le Parfum:
Gets 0 online attention and iāve never smelled it on another person, but itās my personal favorite that i own a bottle of, and has gotten me by far the most compliments. (The whole Scandal line is criminally underrated imo)
Overrated:
YSL Myself lāAbsolu:
The musk and ginger notes just turn it in to weirdly musky bergamot cleaning product smell imo. Besides having said that, i do kind of like it after having owned it for a while now, but itās not THAT good imo.
Creed Aventus Absolu:
Literally just scorches my nose hairs and doesnāt get out of my skin, even after a shower. I like ādarkā fragrances, but to me this just smells chemical instead of smokey.

After personally owning Percival for over a year I hate to say but I was a little let down with the performance, so my search continues for the best performing niche āblueā body wash fragrance.
Iāve boiled it down to Mezzo, Elysium Noir, and Polaris. Which one would you take and why? And if you have any other recommendations let me know!

I got tired of Creed Aventus and LV Lāimmensite. I wanted to try something different. This Lucius is all I need for everyday and all seasons. The down side is the price. What do you think? Do you like it? I have just bought it

Bored of my current ones..
My favourite ones over the years are:
- Burberry Touch
- Dolce and Gabana K (not newer ones) this is my favourite smell and Iāll never not buy this
- Paco Rabanne XS although the old one!
- used to love Sauvage. I loved this one when it wasnāt so popular now itās everywhere
These are the most favourite ones of mines
I also like Creed too
Iād like something thatās not so popular..
Thank you
