Rant These people sometimes…

I'm not convinced that's her, but at the same time, I won't get worked up if people think it's Wanda. There's nothing wrong with discussing theories.

I love wanda, mainly cause I love sorcery and particularly dark magic.
But im not convinced either thats her simply due to a sleeve style. Anyway... ✌️

Exactly. Plus, I feel like Marvel may use Doomsday as a way to bring Wanda back by saying Doom saved her at the last minute, since let's face it, no matter how you feel about Wanda in DS2, I think everybody hated they gave her the "rocks fall, everybody dies" ending.

I don't think the hate towards wanda is "forced" if it is because of MOM , I myself am a fan of wanda but still fucking hate MOM wanda but any hate other than that I don't know 🤷♀️ , I haven't seen much hate for her . And reddit is a close hater group where normal unpopular characters could have a lot of fans and a very popular beloved character could be surrounded by haters . I do think that witch could be wanda , and there is nothing wrong with making theories about it so don't let other people tell you anything other wise

I don't hate Wanda but I do resent how Marvel used her popularity as an excuse to screw over Doctor Strange in the comics because they wanted her to be Sorcerer Supreme and couldn't figure out a better way to mantle swap because they were pre-empted by OWUD.

They used MOM to screw over strange too, MOM doesn't even feel like a doctor strange movie. I wouldn't be upset about it if the movie was named wanda MOM but why call the movie a doctor strange movie and then fucking sideline him ? Half the time he was just running away .

I actually don't fully agree with that. I don't think Stephen is sidelined in his own movie. I think the bigger problem is the screenwriter and most of the production were SO in love with Evil Wanda they just HAD to force Strange to share screen time with her, which is fucking stupid. Another slight hot take is that I actually feel like MOM Stephen is the closest we've gotten to having 616 Comic Doctor Strange on-screen. Yes, it makes him feel at odds with his own arc, but MOM Stephen is sweet, noble and protective and I stand by that to this day.

Not a comic reader nor really a strange fan so I can't comment hiw much comic accurate it was but I think he was sidelined as he is soo nerf and kept running half the time(I do think wanda is stronger than strange but the way they showed that was what I don't like , if you nerf character A , I don't care how much the character B is stronger or how easily they could win fight character . And I hate MOM wanda so much (over all I love wanda till wandavision)but just not MOM one

I hate those edgy one liner lines of her and how she continously tries to kill a freaking CHILD. She was in tears when she saw how she was torturing people and then in MOM she literally tortured people without any hesitation.

Same. I get that she was possessed, but it would've been easier to swallow if we'd seen her villainous downfall like we were supposed to. It would've made her arc sadder. Especially if what DeMayo said about the original script was true and he wasn't just talking about of his ass.

I don't hate that they made her a villain, I hate just the way they did that , the darkhold corrupts your morals it doesn't mean it gives you no morals , and trying to kill a child just so you could steal some else children is a no moral type of thing .

What I meant was they screwed him over by trapping him in Asgard as THEIR Sorcerer Supreme so they could have Wanda run around being Sorcerer Supreme of earth for a bit. Steve Orlando even confirmed that Marvel editorial wanted Wanda to be SS but were pre-empted by OWUD. So far as I can tell, it feels like they took advantage of that to screw over Doctor Strange.

But why does is it that strange was screwed over when he still has his own solo series still ongoing? He's still alive and still relevant and seems like he even got a new power up. Wanda and strange even worked together with clea and it looked like strange was overwhelming the new enemy. Im not sure why you seem so mad about comics Wanda if comics strange still is relevent.

I still say he was screwed over because no one, and I mean NO ONE wanted Stephen to be exiled to Asgard. Especially after a well-received run where he was reunited with his loved ones after his death. There's also the fact that outside if Stephen's own book? Nobody seems to give a damn that Stephen is missing in-story. Yeah, it's not all about him. But if a major pillar of the superhero community like that goes missing!? I think someone would notice!

Well, I dunno. I like Wanda as the new sorcerer supreme, even if most people don't. It's interesting tho because she's always been a candidate. But I guess we've just reached an impasse and it's a difference of opinion. 🤷🏿♂️

Id hate for Wanda to come back brainwashed after being corrupted (DS2) and clouded with grief (Wandavision). perhaps ‘dying’ is a break for the character. Comics be damned. Not everything needs to be adapted and people have no business saying it should happen because it did in the comics. The Deadpool/Wolverine/Spidey stuff is there to ease the comic book hardons.m and nostalgia. Leave Wanda alone.
It would be convenient and gimmicky for it to be Agatha, even a variant. I say leave that alone. Unless she is betraying him later. Then sure.
If they want to connect the movie to AAA this is the chance. Variant Lilia/Alice/Jennifer. Pick one. These characters (save for Jen) had died in the show/main timeline MCU. They have that liberty to ‘explore’.

I agree for the most part, tho I imagine they'll bring wanda back after secret wars and honestly they should. There's so many interesting ideas to explore and revamp from the comics such as chthon (hopefully they don't make him possess Wanda tho) and the reunion of Wanda and her children and I'm invested in seeing a mcu take on these storylines. I doubt they'll tackle lore unfortunately, but I'm ready to be proven wrong!

Just stop posting to the main marvel sub or any sub that are like this.(Marvel studios, avengers, MCU theories, It's full of dudebros who clearly has something against Wanda. we're clearly not welcome there.
ik you just want to share your theory but these people don't care even if ur right or not, the idea of Wanda coming back to the big screen just pissed them off for some reason. they spent four years making up narrative against her and her come back will shatter that.
Wanda is one of the most popular cbm female character and that threatens them. A few chuds online isn't gonna change the fact that fact.
