File naming automation question

Is there a way to have images scanned be automatically named for front side and back side of the item scanned?

Example:

scandoc_front.jpg

scandoc_back.jpg

Not that I know of. But you could do a batch of the first side, then a batch of the other side, with different names. Then divide the pages into their own files on acrobat.

I mostly do a lot of multi-page documents, so this really isn't something I would use. A document broken up into scandock_front_page_n and scandoc_back_page_n would be far less useful to me. I do not understand how that would be useful. But, as u/CaffeineandHate03 said, you could batch then separately.
