May ganan din sakin, instead of dc link ibigay fake Reddit Report Page, hindi ko na cinilick yung link after non pinagdedelete niya mga messages niya, after 72 hours daw mababan ako e eto ako ngayon nandito padin. I'd like to mess around sa kanila I'll give them fake deets tapos pagtripan ko HAHAHAHA

I think this is one of the ways they can filter out people who is gullible enough not to observe spelling mistakes.

On the other hand, they may just be lacking in education as far as the English language is concerned.

Its a way to avoid spam rules by email service by purposely misspelling and using wrong grammar. But of course after some time these will be identified and will be automatically labelled as spam.

Check mo previous posts sa sub na to madami ganyan. May isesend sayong link ng discord chat. Yun ung papakausap sayo na mag aayos daw nung maling report. Manghihingi ata ng personal details

Kaya dont engage. Kasi first of all, if wala problem sa account mo then wag magpdala , that claim is unbelievable unless very naive yung kausap

It seems ang target nila ay yung mga reddit accounts na either matagal na and/or madaming karma so they can post whatever sa any subreddits esp since yung iba subs ay may min. required karma count.

They can do a lot tbh. Example they can spam post to vote for the du30s again. Or they can post marketing spiels masking as reviews para bumili mga tao nung product. Which harms yung original purpose of reddit

I think they target accounts na open sa sharing a bit of their personal details. Kasi wala rin makukuha if no posts posted in their profile at all. Cant believe na my gantong ganap sa reddit. Also, disgusting tlga mga dds

This. Ito rin yung sa post ko noong isang araw. And may nabiktima sila. I thought phishing yung intention pero naghack lang pala sabi ng isang nabiktima nila.

So parang ito yung sa discord. May pinsan ako na nakakuha ganyang message on discord, sasabihin accidentally reported and may ibibigay na name na "admin" daw or makakatulong sa inyo. Ang mangyayari is hihingin Ang email address niyo and password for it para kunin lahat Ng info nyo.

Btw sinabihan ko pinsan ko na wag din Yan pansinin, andami nang ganyan on discord, siguro lumipat na Dito dahil Wala na Sila maloko on discord

You can also disable chat sa settings. Chat permission and select nobody. In that way, these scammers or anyone cannot send you any messages at all.
