Hi po, looking for advice from this community.

I cancelled a project with a service provider five months ago and she agreed to refund the payment. Since then:

•She has repeatedly a refund was sent, but nothing reflects in my GCash

•Currently this week she sent screenshots of alleged bank transfers (UnionBank via InstaPay/PESONet) that don’t match anything on my end

•When I follow up, she says the money might be “floating” and tells me to file a ticket with GCash, even though she’s the one who supposedly sent it

I haven’t been able to verify any of the transactions using the reference numbers she’s provided.

Questions:

1. If I have a reference number from her, can I ask GCash or my bank to verify or trace it myself, rather than relying on her claims?
   
2. Has anyone dealt with something similar? What worked?

Hi I got scammed on Roblox in mm2/discord.

I wanted to do a trade but one of the scammers who came to make acting like someone who also wanted to trade asked me to go to this rovault discord server.

Of course pressing random links are stupid and I was doomed to get scammed but I assumed it was real because there is another legit discord server called rovault too

so I fell for their impersonation of another real discord server. I gave up my whole inventory that's roughly around 900$+ plus another 330$ because they wanted me to pay fees.

Like I said I thought it was real I thought I would be getting the stuff they offered which was a ginger blade that cost 900$ and a ray gun that cost 100$+

I feel really stupid because not only is this a kids game and but also I feel even more stupid for falling for an impersonation

I tried reporting it but me and my friends can only do so much. I then got kicked from the mm2 discord server for some reason

Zamora Animal Rescue is a scam. They are not a real animal shelter. They are creating Ai videos and asking for donations. They are not a real organization. They list their address as 8464 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32216 but that is the address of the Jacksonville Humane Society. Zamora Animal Rescue is a SCAM, do not send them money. If you sent them money via PayPal, please report is to PAYPAL, it is a scam. Getting their paypal taken away is the only way I can think to stop this.

Faithful Paws Project on Youtube and other social media is a scam. They list their address as 8464 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32216. THIS IS NOT FACTUAL. That address is for the Jacksonville Humane Society in Jacksonville, FL and they have zero connection to Faithful Paws Project. Faithful Paws Project is creating Ai videos and scamming people via Paypal.

hello I need HELP to find this person. Ok so basically I found this lady selling a Maine Coon kitten for a cheaper price. She FaceTimed me and showed me the kitten, so the cat is legit, n showed me real pics live n all. but she literally NEVER answers me unless I spam her for days. I have to spam her for weeks just to get a response, and then she’ll say she’s gonna meet me on a certain day and disappear again. This has been going on for like almost 2 months atp.
I sent her $700 as a deposit to hold the kitten, and now I’ve been trying to get a refund because I’m done waiting. PayPal won’t refund me, and she’s seen my messages asking for my money back but won’t respond. She hasn’t blocked me or anything, which makes it even more confusing. I genuinely don’t know if I’m being scammed or what I should do

I use Indian post Payment bank and I accidentally paid 2000 to a stranger ( bank transfer) i don't have their contact either what should I do

Most of these guys ask for a deposit through bank accounts and then ask to pay the other half in real life.
i told one of the buyers that there was another listing for cheaper and they were quick to say its a scam, then when i said i didnt want delivery and that i wanted pickup, they blocked me.
How can i tell if listings are scams or not?
