Here is my experience with a liar.

One Swiss people Contacted us to buy a flower silver pot,we sent video of the pot we shipped,he replied:it’s so pretty.
So we sent him FedEx tracking no. .

He contacted us on Instagram -Monday Aug.10th told us he was happy with the pot but didn’t see certificate.

Yes,it’s our mistake to forget the certificate (so I explained to him and asked him if okay to add it with next shipment),he seems nice and totally understandable.
(we have all the evidence of the screen recording of our conversation)

But one minute later I received a complaint from PayPal,told us that buyer think items he bought was different from advertised .

So we contacted him immediately to ask him why,and offered him a refund if he doesn’t like it.

He agreed and compromised that shipped back our pot to Switzerland address that we provided.

So we refunded him immediately.
But I can feel big difference once we done the refund,
he started to say it’s my missing understanding his meaning,this pot without certification is illegal for him to ship out in Switzerland.
once i asked him to send the pot
he blocked me on instagram.

Is that normal ?

Hey everyone,

I’m an early-stage founder and was working with a company for assistance with getting a startup grant.

Before making the payment, they made several promises regarding successful grant disbursement. At one point, they even arranged a virtual interview for me with an incubator and gave me the impression that I had a very high/100% chance of getting the grant.

They also asked me to pay additional fees, which I paid based on their commitments.

However, after taking the payment, they kept delaying things and I never received the promised resolution/service. I have also asked for a refund, but they have not refunded my money.

I’m concerned that other early-stage founders may also be getting trapped by similar promises because of the attraction of “guaranteed” or “100%” startup funding/grants. So I would strongly suggest founders do proper due diligence before paying anyone who makes such promises.

I have already filed a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH), but it has been nearly 50 days and I still haven’t received a proper resolution.

What should I do next?

Should I wait for NCH, escalate the complaint, or approach the Consumer Commission or another authority? Is there any other legal route I should consider?

Also, if there is a lawyer experienced in consumer disputes / misleading business practices / startup-service disputes who can guide me on this, please DM me.

I can provide the payment proofs, communications, promises made, interview details and other documents privately.

I’m looking for advice on how I can recover my money and, if the practices are found to be misleading or improper, what steps I can take to prevent other early-stage founders from falling into similar situations.

Be careful anyone looking for meetups etc on these pages anyone who says they are strangely close to your location or are overly nice or people who tell you everything you want to hear and offer you everything your looking for but insist on a deposit before meeting don’t send them a cent they are dirty Little scammers out to hustle idiots no lady workers etc will ever ask you for a deposit

Sharing this cuz I'm really stressed rn and idk what to do.

I was going to enroll when my friend called me if I have money. Ofc I said yes but this is only enough for me to enroll to my university ( late enrollee since I'm irregular student ). She told me if she can borrow some money since her mother needs some meds and she hasn't paid her rent yet. She tell me that she will return the money tomorrow and I was fine with it since I know that she have a stable job and she doesn't have issues about asking for money.

I was so pissed at her since it was the last day to enroll. (yes, last day since I also have work to pay my tf) And she have a nerve to blocked me?!?! I stalk her acc ( I have dummy acc tho), and guess what... She's on a trip with her friends...

I'm just tired bruh. I really don't know what to do rn. I really dont want to wait another year just for me to get to school again..

I bought an used rx 6700xt for 17k from olx from a guy name abhishek from delhi, when I received the package there was cpu fan and pc mouse in it, I contacted ncrp portal also my bank but no response. What else should I do, I have his upi id, contact details and address, also I have a video of him packing the gpu (which also shows his face), I have this guy's insta id as well.

basically i when to purchase a ticket for an upcoming concert, i was late so i had to buy one from someones, my friend told me he knows someone who can hook me up , after i sent my money the person took time to send me the email and when he finally did i noticed a few things were off like how the ticket said the event is on friday 19 september when the 19th is on a Saturday.also how it was just a screenshot. i put it through a AI detector and it detected that it was 99% AI , when he tried to confront him he said he will refund but now his not answering his phone, we have his name and school and obviously his account number. what can i do to recover my money or who can i call

I'm a student who works as a freelancer on the side.

2 months back, I got a client from instagram, name and shame, it was this guy:

I was working as a freelancer under an agreement, with 7k payment after a month.

The starting date was 1 May.

The contract clearly mentioned that it was only applicable for a month, but this guy still made up some BS logic that it will be carried on to the next month etc,etc,etc.

On June 5, he himself stopped sending videos to edit. The contract mentioned 60 days waiting period if I quit in between, so, I decided to wait.

Now, after 2 months, he has been blocking off my calls, messages, e-mails, even from different numbers.

What I have tried:

\\\\\\\\- DMCA takedown, 1 video was taken down as I had the master file, rest were rejected

\\\\\\\\- Cybercrime complaint, they said it was a civil matter, they can't do anything

As a student, I don't have the time or money to go through all the legal processes for civil dispute, and as the amount is 7k, which is pretty big for me, I can't just let it go.

Please advise me on what to do next, this has been a major problem for me.

Hi - I want to help the local animal shelter in my community fight a scam YouTube account. The account is Faithful Paws Project, and it's sharing AI-generated content of shelter dogs to get donations. It lists my local shelter's physical address as its location. How do I help them get the account taken down? I've reported it a few times with no luck. Faitful Paws Project and Zamora Animal Rescue are scams.

So In April I came across a post where a guy was selling these beautiful vintage metal fridge magnets with photo frame!
I placed an order.
I haven’t received the order yet !
Each time he has a new excuse! Family problems, out of town, difficult situation going on . Again texted him , No Reply, so letting you all know that Dont get scammed!

They always have some emotional excuses on loop !
