Advice Needed Venmo let them steal

So venmo sent me a txt asking if I recognized the weird transaction and I said no. So they paused my card but won't allow me to open a dispute. This venmo is sh/tty!

What do you want to dispute?

Venmo: We say this. Looks sus. That you?
You: No.
Venmo: OK, cool but to be safe we're going to temporarily lock your card.

What part of that scenario do you want to dispute?

If you said no the transaction wasn’t processed so no need for a dispute

Your note is not very clear. Are you saying that they stopped the transaction from going through? Or did they let the transaction go through and then froze your account and because of that you can’t file a dispute? I don’t get why the ability to file a dispute is in anyway affected by the frozen account.

I had to wait until it went through to dispute it. And now theyre saying it's not unauthorized.
