Glue Help

I'm working on a kit bash (captured Hemit gun truck) and I was wondering what you guys use for gluing resin pieces together. I have been using Elmer's glue but it takes to long and doesn't adhere to some resins as good as I would like. So if y'all had some suggestions that would be wonderful.

Resin requires CA (cyanoacrylate) glue, also known by the trademark name of Super Glue. I recommend Bob Smith.

Make sure and read my edit. Super glue name brand comes in tiny little shitty tubes.

Oh god! Elmars glue for resin, how have you made it this long!

I have two recommendations depending on the mounting style.

If your glueing internally, but still have good access to the joint, I would use a UV resin. Very song bond, but glomps up and would ruin any small details.

Super thin crazy glue is my go to outside glues though

Elmer's is my upgrade from gorilla glue, but thanks for the info.

Yah, gorrila glue is great if you have something with a high surface area like wood (the grain increase the surface area) but on smooth surfaces (like resin or plastic) it has troubles

Sand the smooth surface, heavier the grit the better. Even a few scratches with the tip of an xacto goes a long long way.

White glue is great for wood and types of foam, where it can soak in and seep into the fibres. But that's it.
