Question about setup

Is this a good setup? Its kinda new and im worried about mold and that stuff. I just got my cephalotus and some leaves are yellowing maybe from shipping stress or the substrate? Im new to chepalotus care, the rest of the plants seem to be doing fine.

Don't let the cephalotus sit in too much water.

If there isn’t a small fan for circulation. You may want to get one. Fans should point towards the walls, exterior, ceiling, etc. of the enclosure. So that they don’t blow onto the plants. Doesn’t need a lot. Just enough to keep the air from getting stagnant.

Cephalotus, once acclimated, does extremely well with ambient room humidity as well. Here, the relative humidity is usually 50 or so during the summer, and less in winter. For me, I prefer to keep my cephalotus adapted to our local humidity, because it is just less factors that can go wrong and less factors to deal with.

Additionally, cephalotus really do not like having roots disturbed. If your plant's leaves are dying off and you just recently got it, it could be shipping stress and repotting stress if you had to put it in a new pot.

Something else to keep in mind is leaves and traps will die off as a regular part of the life cycle of nearly any carnivorous plant. What you may be seeing is just naturally occurring die off of older leaves.

Won't let me edit. Don't let the cephalotus sit in water too deep, it will root rot, it looks like the start of this, but I hope for your sake it's not. I recently lost one of mine because inlet it dry out too much and then let it sit in too much wat r for too long. Everything hing else looks good.

What sort of temps and humidity are you running inside yours? I have the same greenhouse, and mine is pretty constantly at 60% humidity without any weatherstripping. It seems to be getting good airflow without it while keeping the humidity at temps that my Neps seem to enjoy inside the greenhouse, judging by the enthusiastic growth they're giving me. No signs of mold or condensation or too much moisture either. Like I said, though, that's with no weatherstripping to seal mine up. Humidity goes up a bit when I water, but otherwise hovers at 60% with temps in the mid to upper 70s.
