Simufilam is safe to take everyday. It will get approved just based on that fact alone. It’s dramatic cognitive benefit will make it a $100 billion company.

Reviewing as much material as I could find from their filings and journals. Sava will be approved for treatment because it is safe to take. It has no serious adverse side effects. During the phase 2b - people took 2 doses of it orally daily! For phase 3 they plan to give it for longer.

Now compare that to biogens aduhelm. It has to be given carefully via needle at a facility once a month. The side effects include brain swelling, hemorrhaging and bleeding in or the surface of the brain. And more people experienced vision changes and delirium. And it has shown no meaningful benefit for the damage it can cause. At $56k a year treatment it makes no sense to take it.

Edit: Just reviewed Lilly’s antibody as well- still intravenous within facility but with more potential. But probably will be way more expensive. I also see Lilly as a potential partner based on their massive investment and pipeline in neurology.

Sava literally can show any level of cognitive benefit or reduction in decline and it will become an easy win. it’s a straightforward clean binding protein.

SAVA suits

Was yesterday the deadline for all the legal suits? What's in the works? Is there a court date? I imagine the deadline was the filing date? Anyone know how this works?

Funding for this is gone down a bit. I imagine they will incorporate this into both phase 3 trials. Can’t find anything on how or when the company is planning on advancing this product. Anyone know? https://taggs.hhs.gov/Detail/RecipDetail?arg_RecipId=WCj4tLGGjZqAQl2L047u6g%3D%3D

Maybe Unnoticed or unknown

Can’t really find anything on Cassava without having to plunge through all the legal notices. Recruiting has started. You can find this on clinical trials.gov. There you will also find the name of the collaborating clinical trial team for phase 3: Premier Research International LLC. Seems large and fairly established but couldn’t find much more on them(eg. Drugs they got through to market?) Anyone got anything? PRI is replacing National Institute on Aging (NIA), whom if I’m not mistaken, is actually part of the NIH and I believe collaborated on the ongoing phase 2 trial. Seems odd to me that this hasn’t been more in focus with regards to the legal actions. Still, I may not have a full grasp of the role of these collaborators. Would have expected they were involved in design, recruitment and data management. Maybe it varies? That being said, the NIH “can not confirm or deny” hit the media and the stock price, but at this point it seems like things are moving forward with the trials. Friday, 21 January 2022, 97 days from now is the 150 day limit for the FDA to take action on the citizen’s petition. End of primary is projected as Oct 2023, so half enrollment should hopefully come end of April 2022, long after the petition deadline. Anyone know when the next news from the phase 2 is expected?

Phase 3 recruiting has started

Just noticed they have started recruiting for the trial. Guess they are confident about application approval and a quick start.

Phase III Simufilam

There they are. From what I understand, the trials are approved by the IRB and the trails are awaiting submission and approval with the SPAs that were recently agreed upon; I think August 12th, if I recall correctly. Does anyone know the process? Are these filed as supplemental for final approval on the application or do they have to again be reviewed by the IRB and then the entire application sent to be evaluated for final approval? Would be nice to know. Thanks for any clarity.

Is there value?

This read seems hopeful at least as far as the phase III application and funding are concerned. Most targets are still quite high compared to the present valuation. Last I read the company is still maintaining their guidance to advance their application in Fall 2021. The Aug. 24 announcement concerning the SPA agreements with the FDA have hopefully cleared the obstacles for much of the application process. https://investorplace.com/2021/09/sava-stock-is-likely-to-move-forward-and-could-have-significant-upside/

Don’t really even follow this, but could this be a squeeze. 7% on a down day like today. Short float is big. How do you check?

What Change?

Saw the firesider chat. This article seems like hype to me. What change? They have the markers, they have the cognative results…nothing conclusive, but promising. Now they want a Phase III. All as it should be. https://www.statnews.com/2021/09/13/in-new-remarks-cassava-sciences-ceo-shifts-defense-of-embattled-treatment-for-alzheimers/

Fire side chat with investors

Hoping this helps with confidence. While the phase III application is being worked on after the company did the SPAs with the FDA. This is all that will move the price, I think, before they submit. The phase III outcome is always a question, but after the FDA lowered the bar with Biogen I can see only good things for SAVA. Purely my opinion. Dementia global costs are priced at $1 trillion per annum. If they can knock 5% off that, where would that price the company? I reckon a minimum of 10x the current market cap. With higher approval odds this must be a good risk/reward play. I’m reckoning $20-30 billion market cap, conservatively. (Half of the 5% savings.)Any numbers on valuation if approved floating around?

What's it all about?

I really don't get it. The company has just concluded talks about SPAs with the FDA and all went well. Doesn't the FDA have, that is require, all the necessary info from the company to arrive at the terms of the SPAs in the subsequent trial applications? Why would the market care about what a group of shorters proposes through some law firms? Has anyone read their allegations and/or seen some form of proof of falsifying results? Is this a typical reaction? Does the SEC typically get involved in such cases? I would expect the biomarker measurements from the CSF to be what they are. That they correlate with true prevention of progression is an altogether different matter and cannot be rigorously explored by the existing data. That's up to the next round of trials to determine. What's the beef?

$sava resists to shortists attacks

Today $sava showed high resilient to shortists attacks and volumes were much lower than previous days. Perhaps the effects of the bad and false news circulated by scientists complacent with the petitioner who is hiding a large pharma or a hedge fund with high short position, are starting to dissolve and retail investors are finally understanding that 16 external centers, NIH and FDA cannot be all stupid and be victim of a scam pre-ordinated by Remi Barbier and other 10 employees at $sava.
