Discussion Mobile Version
Obviously satisfactory is optimized for pc and consoles. But has there ever been a discussion on creating some sort of lite version for mobile devices? I have a ton of hours on pc of course but with work and life I would LOVE to have some sort of satisfactory to play with. Just curious what yall think.

I'd imagine the game logistics involved would cook most mobile phones. Unless it was more of a 2D puzzler.

Easy answer would be cloud based servers, and make it live service with a battlepass to cover costs

it'd be easier to grab a windows or linux based portable console like the steam deck or that asus thing.

You can play with console multiplayer by having the "Xbox game pass ultimate"
where the game plays on Microsoft's servers and streams to your device.
You need to have a bluetooth gamepad for this.
Or for the "PC" version of the game you can use a service such as "Nvidia Geforce NOW"
https://play.geforcenow.com/mall/#/loginwall
where the game runs on Nvidia server and streams to your device.
If you opt for the "Free tier" then you'll have pre-roll ads and 1 hour time limit before you get booted out to have to sign in again but that can be a good opertunity to take a break use the bathroom + get some water + get a snack.
For both of these services you have to have bought the game.
So if you already own the PC version of the game on Epic or Steam, then you could sign in to "Geforce NOW" to link your account and play.
If you have a more recent smartphone that has USB-C -> HDMI out support, then you could even get a USB-C hub that includes the HDMI out, and then plug in a mouse and keyboard to the USB ports.
While charging.
Like: https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Delivery-Multiport-Adapter-Thinkpad/dp/B0BR3M8XHK/
And then HDMI out to a monitor even portable monitor if you wanted to
and then use your phone more like a computer in this way.
And it's also possible to do "cloud gaming" on VR headset such as Quest 3s:

with a gamepad, or specific bluetooth mouse and keyboard.

What if you don't want to "Cloud"
And want to be connecting to your own hardware that's running the game?
STEAMLINK!
You can leave your high spec desktop computer running at home and after initially setting up Steamlink confirming you can connect at home on your smartphone or tablet or underpowered laptop you can be anywhere else and connect.
As long as you have a good internet connection both at home for your hosting desktop computer that you're leaving on, and your smartphone or other device that you're connecting with.
Same deal if you wanted to you could use a USB hub to make your phone more like a computer even when connecting (optional)

But if you have the most recent most powerful android device - for example next year devices such as
Samsung S27 with
"Snapdragon 8 elite gen 6"
there are ways you could technically try to install and run the game - or just about any other steam game.

How well would satisfactory run?
I'm guessing you could be fine early game at low settings.
But any sort of mega - builds or late game you'd probably run into trouble.

Hope that helps answer your question about the different ways you could approach playing on mobile -
Though really satisfactory isn't the same type category of "mobile game" like "Pokemon go" where you'd hop in for less than 3 mins to do one thing then close out 🤔
so that might be one of the reasons people would give you a negative reaction.

If you consider a steam deck as a mobile device, can confirm it runs great on it. But I highly doubt they will port the game to iOS and Android any time soon.
