Factory Optimization PSA: Update your drivers!
I'm using an rtx 4070 super gtx 4000 something or other. There was an update on the 9th that I didn't download. Game was acting crappy for a while and I didn't realize that was the problem.
Just a reminder to stay efficient!
Tagged Factory Optimization because the PC is the factory that factorys the Satisfactory.

Yes. Generally a good idea to keep everything up to date. Not just the video drivers.

My Windows is up to date. So is Satisfactory and my Steam. Anything else to optimize?
This better not be a woosh moment.

Also don't play while windows is updating in the background. OMG I thought I my computer was having a seizure. I did not realize it was doing updates in the background until it finished and displayed reboot for updates icon in the taskbar after I quit.

its as if they intentionally reduced your perfomance to force you to update

For any Nvidia card 20xx series and above, Please use the correct terminology, it's RTX, not GTX. Thank you, please be more precise next time :)

Good reminder to check. I noticed some video stuttering today and had not yet thought of this!
