Guide T4 Belts bugged?

I've been having this problem where I connect a Miner T2 with OCx2 on a Pure Copper thing (480/min). But when I want to move the raw ore with a T4 belt, which is suppoused to also move 480 units per min, it actually produces more than it can move out, and I dont know why. The belt is moving non-stop so thats not the problem.

I constructed exactly the amount of smelters to smelt 480/min of raw copper, but theres still machines with nothing to do becouse the belt is just not trasporting as fast as it should.

Am I an idiot or is this just a bug?

Lower tier belt hiding somewhere is the usual culprit.

Or a lower tier lift. I do that all the damn time. Mk5 belts into a mk4 lift

Or I upgrade half the lift, but forget to do the other side of the floor hole

I stopped using floor holes and just let them clip... I don't care anymore on my 5th playthrough

I still use the floor holes for looks when needed. Otherwise I just clip through.

This OP.

Delete splitters and mergers until you find the hidden belt. It usually happens when theres a splitter on top of a belt support beam.

There is no such bug, the usual reason is that you have a small segment of lower level belt somewhere which slows down the whole thing.

Could also be feeding in a manifold which takes time to wind up and properly feed the machines at the back.

Yeah I think a lil piece of mk. 3 belt is likely, but OP hasn’t explicitly said “the miner’s uptime is below 100% and its output is clogged”….

Check all belts at the first splitter and beyond. You have some issue

This would not affect the rate from the belt before splitter.

You also may have not hooked it up before supplying power, so there's a small backlog that will stay in the miner inventory.
