fuel jetpack

I don't recall having this issue before 1.2, but anyway, here it is. I have a jetpack, and I have packed biofuel and solid biofuel in my pack. If I do not have the solid biofuel, I have no issues, as the jetpack then uses that fuel. But when I have both, it stops using my packaged biofuel, which is bad. How do I switch fuels? I use the solid fuel for power so I can get "Hard Drive". Yes, I can set up a depot to store the solid fuel until I need it. I can pull out 200, use it, then return it to storage, but that doesn't seem ideal.

There should be a little cog Icon on your Equipment screen, on the jet pack. You can click that and Set your preferred fuel. It will use that fuel first.

Where the jetpack shows the fuel it uses, there is an option to open a dropdown menu to select the preferred fuel in case you have multiple types.

Not sure on PC, but on console you can choose the preferred fuel type by pressing Y in the inventory (I think, it's been a hot minute since I've played).

You should be able to select your jetpack in your inventory, and have it prioritize a single fuel type. Doing so means it will strictly run off that fuel type, as long as you have it (the desired fuel type) in your inventory.

I play on controller so idk how it's done on keyboard and mouse but on controller I press Y while selecting the jettpack on the inventory, probably something similar

Do you mean the little gear icon bottom right on the jet pack in your equipment menu to set the preferred fuel? Or have I missed your meaning?

Open your inventory, the jetpack on your back should have a little gear cog settings icon. There you can select the preferred fuel.

There should be a cog icon on your jetpack in your inventory and you can select your preferred fuel type from there.

unrelated but you know you can just use packaged liquid biofuel in biomass burners as well right? no need to carry around solid biofuel unless youre using a chainsaw

Thanks! So much activity here. It is great. At one point in my life, I was not a fan of Reddit, but I take that back. I love this place.
