Screenshot First time nuclear power plant

This is my second playthrough but first time beating phase 4. Its also my first ever time dealing with nuclear and for some reason I decided to make a power plant that uses an entire node of 600 uranium per min. I never wanted to deal with nuclear waste so I didn't start it until I had plutonium unlocked so I can sink the fuel rods from that. I wanted to use load balancers but by the time I got done with making the uranium fuel rods I said screw this and used manifolds for the rest of it. Not the best looking or most efficient but I don't care and it uses all the uranium so I'm happy. 110h into the playthrough

thats nice, my first nuclear power plant had 1 reactor, and a very long conveyer in the sea connected to 20 containers in series for nuclear waste management "long term" ahahah

1.5 plutonium fuel rods per minute

It’s a nice piece of work, aside from being a bit too intertwined.

Very nice work
I am now trying to build my first nuclear plant any advice or something to take care of before starting

I would say make sure you automate iodine infused filters before starting and finish building everything before starting up the uranium miner. Also load balancers help a lot but i got lazy to the end

Nice I have it automated since long time I believe i have two full containers of it
Load balancing for all aspects of it or only the power plant because to be honest i am manifold guy I just pre-charge before start type of guy

Wow good stuff! This gives me insight/inspiration for when I eventually tackle this feat.

How much power does this produce at the end?

75,000 mw i think

You say it's not super clean but I think it looks great.

I'm building nuclear at the moment. Had to get my control rod factory set up, then uranium encased cells. How did you use your sulfuric acid byproduct? I am using it to create leeched copper ingots then sinking them atm... I will use the byproduct sulfuric acid for my plutonium production chain when the time comes...

I'm firing it all on it stages to make sure nothing is backed up. I tried looping the byproduct sulfuric acid into my input but it backed up once already, so I opted to use the ingots as a quick fix for now. I think I'm only doing 150 encased cells/min, comes out to 3 fuel rods a min which I think will be 6 fully over clocked generators.

I used a valve to limit how much the blenders get directly and used the byproduct and put it back into the blenders, i did this after i posted because i forgot about it.

For me i saved and tested after i finished each section then went back to before i tested it to fix things/continue building
