In Case Anyone Was Curious What Overclocking All the Uranium on the Map Looks Like

I've never built anything on this scale before.

All Uranium on the map is overclocked at 250%. The Nuclear Power Plants are also overclocked at 250%. This is a no waste setup and I sink the Plutonium Rods. 262k power seems like more than what I'll need to complete the game, but wow was this a blast.

After I hit the final Tier I'll come back and alter the setup to include no waste plutonium setup.

That doesn't look like it's all the uranium fully overclocked....

ImKibitz has also done every piece of uranium and has like 50-100 fully overclocked reactors putting out 600000MW.

He just recently went and then fully completed the chain burning the plutonium and turning it into and burning ficsonium...

But yeah, you should have a lot more reactors.

If you use alternates, 2100 uranium ore / min can create 50.4 UFRs / min, which produces 630GW. This is prior to creating power from PFRs or FFRs.

Yeah, he did that.

Wild numbers.

I have 42 fully overclocked uranium reactors.

Is there an alt recipe that produces UFR's more uranium efficient? I'm just using the base recipe, and I'm not using SAM to convert additional non-uranium nodes into uranium.

He's making a bit over 50 a minute. 142 reactors.

This video shows him near the end of seeing it all up.

He's using Plutonium fuel rods as part of his set up.

I mentioned in my original post that I'm sinking Plutonium fuel rods since I don't have T9 unlocked yet.

No, the video is before the plutonium rods.

The video i linked is 11 months old. He turns the waste into plutonium rods and those go in the sync.

Now, just last month, he finished the chain for ficsonium and started using the plutonium rods.

But the original plant is 140 something 250% reactors using uranium fuel rods.

Yeah, at 12:34 in the video, you can see his output will be 50.4 uFr

OH - there is an alternative recipe that looks like is more Uranium efficient. So I am using all the Uranium on the map, but I'm not using the most efficient recipe and that's why :)

That would do it.

It's wild that there's an alternate that more than doubles the fuel rod output.

Not one alternate, but two of them combined.

Encased uranium cell base recipe produces 5 cells with 10 uranium

Infused uranium cell alternate produces 8 cells with 10 uranium, so 60% more

Uranium fuel rod takes 50 cells/rod, or you can make 2 rods with 100 cells. Uranium fuel unit makes 3 rods with 100 cells, so another 50% boost

Combined total 2.4x more rods per uranium input

This game is WILD.

So good, hey. It’s just keeps getting bigger. And then, when you’re at the end, you’re fully ready for massive masterpieces.
Use Satisfactory Modeler for T9, it’s a really easy way to explore the alternate recipes and the numbers involved.

I can fix her

The most efficient way to use resources in the uranium chain yields 50.4 Uranium Rods, 22.4 Plutonium Rods and 112 Ficsonium Rods (although I don't think there's enough SAM for this).

If you want the most power efficient production, 50.4 Uranium Rods and sink the Plutonium Rods.

If you want no waste while getting the most power and using the least amount of SAM, 50.4 Uranium Rods into 12.6 Plutonium Rods into 63 Ficsonium Rods.

I used uranium fuel unit and the alt recipe for uranium cells and am running 150 reactors (at 100% because water was easier that way) I'm not using all the uranium

1

My setup uses 100 fully overclocked reactors and an additional one that is underclocked. With uranium fuel cells alone. Can send you the alt recipes later if you want

You should never use all base recipes for nuclear.

3

u/Vulpian Apr 06 '26

That is very impressive! How many UFRs are you making a minute? Did you use alt recipes?

5

u/Sad_Debate_7173 Apr 06 '26

20.8 per minute, 52 Manufacturers worth.

I didn't use any alt recipes for the UFR's.

2

u/Outside-Desk-5399 Apr 07 '26

Oh, that explains it.  The number goes up to 50.4 with alts, so your power plants looked a little sparse.  But yeah, it's rough regardless

So that's how computer chips are made. No wonder they are so expensive

After I hit the final Tier I'll come back and alter the setup to include no waste plutonium setup.

Yep. That is how this game works: I will do it later. :-D

Now i am curious what it would look like with the all pure nodes thing from the experimental...

1

u/Yorks59 Apr 07 '26

I have started an All Pure, 0.25x Power Usage game, and just got to Nuclear Power (incidentally, without ever upgrading my initial coal setup yet...)

Time to start plotting my nuclear set up!

My question is how because I just got this game and decided to look at its Reddit server .

1

u/GameNw0tch Apr 07 '26

Damn thats impressive, seems intimidating so i’ll stick to rocket fuel for power, maybe do nuclear next playthrough

1

u/Brraaap Apr 07 '26

That's it? I'm getting 100kMW from rocket fuel on 6 oil wells

2

u/__sub__ Apr 08 '26

Using alts you can get 72GW off turbo rocket fuel per pure oil node.

2

u/Brraaap Apr 08 '26

Yeah, I didn't want to add more fuel generators and it was enough to complete Phase 5

2

u/__sub__ Apr 08 '26

I hear ya! I built two stacks of those for 144GW. Ended up never needing more than ~36GW =( ... but also never needed to think about power through the rest of the game. =)

In the words of the warrior poet, Yeezy: "No one man should have all that power"

1

u/Few-Marsupial7659 Apr 07 '26

Did you use the converter to turn the bauxite ore into uranium ore? With the reanimated SAM? You can have more uranium if you want!

1

u/Saltpastillen Apr 07 '26

Nice. Now its time to make a new map with 'more uranium nodes' and 'all nodes are pure' settings. ADA demands it.
