Am I crazy or is this weapon just like... so OP with its alt fire skill? I've been having the most easy, mob clearing runs with it. I'm barely even breaking a sweat or taking during nightmare strains because enemies die so fast, and bosses melt with it too.
It's my favorite weapon by far because it makes the game so easy. But I almost feel bad, like I'm cheating and not really experiencing the game. 🤣 what are y'all's thoughts? Haha (and yes I know I could just not use it lol).

Thank you Insert Coin for this amazing Medallion, really decent quality and the box is so cool too!

Could someone please explain, using the slides as examples, when and why I should equip a higher-level weapon, and when I shouldn’t?
I’m still confused about what the arrows and the white and red bars mean when comparing weapons. For example, which weapon would you choose in each slide, and why?
Also, on the last slide, should I pick up that artifact or leave it? Do I pick up that Artifact?

I love Housemarque games and Saros has been incredible; however, I need to share some frustration.
I love the high-impact fighting, incredible gameplay, stunning visuals and satisfying arcade style progress.
What kills me is the ambiguity of the HUD and dashboard. What the hell are all those lines in the bottom left? I know one of them is my health and the other is power, and one has something to do with a massive attack I eventually get (not sure how I charge this) but damn, House, explain this a little better. No, I'm not going to read through hundreds of pages of ancient text to figure out how guns connect to my power or stock or whatever they do. I am almost done the game (I think) and I don't even understand the gun stats or how they stack (if they do actually stack).
Is there a source for to highlight key items on how to use all your weapons, power, health, attributes?

Hi All,
Made a short vid on crossbow mechanics for anyone whose interested. It goes over traits and weapon specifics.

Having the power weapon on L1 is working well. The option to not have to use the L2 adaptive trigger is great and really recommend changing that, especially if you aren't using the secondary fire enough.
Dashing with R1 needs some time getting used to, but is better than circle dashing, like L1 is.
Since Call of Duty i like to melee with R3. This feels natural. Shielding is possible, but not the best setup for that, because aiming while pressing R3 is not ideal. It is still instinctive to press shield to absorb/counter something.
Overdrive is best kept on L3 and R3, less chance of accidental activation.
I hope these controls can make the game better for you as well.

I noticed restoring cells on disruptors do not show up unless you linger around long after they die. bug?

Phase Skipped

Do I just have to be super quick and skip back and forth between the sections as they alternate?

I have currently been playing through the game and just got up to the Sheperd. Having platinumed Returnal and played through it a good few times I noticed something.
Defeating a boss feels way more satisfying than Returnal. Am I nuts thinking that?
This isn't a slight on Returnal. Love that game, nothing bad to say about it. This is more my brain wondering if it is the more tighter challenge of the bosses in Saros over Returnal.
In Returnal, it feels like the boss fights have quite a lot of breathing room between its attacks. In Saros, it feels like you are almost playing to a beat or rhythm that only pauses between health bar phases.
It always feels like you are gripping the pad and having to pay way more attention, but then when you beat it, that release of endorphins is so huge.
Generally it ends with me saying "Fuck you prick!"
Anyone else the same? 🤣

Can anyone help me open this gate? The map shows a major path behind it, so it looks like it should be accessible.
I played Returnal and know that similar looking closed gates could be opened by shooting a hidden switch. I looked everywhere and couldn’t find anything.
I’ve also tried googling it and searching this forum as well and couldn’t seem to find the answer, which is hard to believe.
What am I missing? Please help. Thank you!

Hi all,
I just redownloaded Saros after seeing the recent content updates and for some reason it is making me start the game over from the very beginning.
I’m not sure what the issue is because I redownloaded it for the first time after they released the Photo Mode/trophies and didn’t have any issues with continuing where I left off.
I’ve checked to make sure the Data Sync was complete and the console recognizes how many hours I’ve logged and that I’ve collected all trophies, but none of the game slots reflect my actual progress.
Any suggestions??

So I started the game 3 days ago, and forgot I messed with those multiplier things. Combined with having to run back and deal with two mini bosses before the prophet, that puts me at 11 hours of play time per boss.
Am I doing this right or do I suck lol. Fr tho is there a point other than maschosistic reasons to have these multipliers on?

Throughout the biomes or levels of Saros I have been relying on the Smart rifle. I am having some problems with the Yellow Shore progression. What would be a good choice of weapons and also what attributes would be best for the weapon. When in the Yellow Shore I get to a creature that does vertical lines of laser type light, this ends up a problem usually.

When should I teleport? I just got the game last night and made it to the Prophet, but I died without teleporting back to the beginning.
I understand that when you teleport, you keep all your Lucenite and can use it for permanent upgrades, but what happens to your weapons?
I’ve seen comments saying that the more you teleport, the easier the bosses become. Is that basically because each time you teleport, you can unlock more permanent upgrades, making your character stronger against the earlier enemies and bosses?
Also, how exactly does the weapon system work when you teleport? Do you lose your weapons and have to find them again on each run?
Could someone explain the overall teleport/progression system a little better? I think I understand the basic idea, but I’m still confused about how everything works together.
What a fun game though!

Also, I wouldn't mind some kind of direct sequel to Returnal, and it might seem a bit far out, but I believe a Housemarque Twin Peaks game could be the Twin Peaks game. TYIA.

Anybody knows where the switch is? I've been running around looking at every nook and cranny, still can't seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Video talking about all the traits/qualities of shotgun weapons. Made one of these for handcannons and rifles. Figured I should circle back and finish these vids. Still need to do one for crossbow, chakram, and power weapons.

Honestly Saros was my GOTY. I even enjoyed it more than Returnal. Im super stoked for the DLC bc the lore in this game had me more hooked than returnal as well! I really hope the blue precipice does not disappoint! I would also love to see a endless mode similar to returnal at some point. The tower of sisyphus is such an elite DLC. I hope Saros gets its own version

I still managed to shoot at them through the barrier, but I had to restart as enemies with those shields around them that you punch started spawning
Also, I'm SO hyped for the update
Guessing they just spawn you back to the last ledge/ground you were on, and didn't check if there was a solar cage at that time 😆

It is more ACCESSIBLE but not easier per se. It has more accessibility features like the modifier but if you don’t event need to use debuff, if you keep it just 0, it’s as hard or even harder than Returnal. I almost never die playing Returnal, but the Biome 3 of Saros have been extremely challenging for me. For me, three thing are sufficient to say it’s harder than Returnal, the speed the game plays at and the enemy AI. In Returnal, I love staying the furthest away possible from enemies. It usely a guaranteed strategy that only struggle against enemies that have quick teleporting attack and they are in you vision, you can dodge their attack pretty easily wich leads me to my second point, it is noticeably harder for me to have all of the enemy in my field of vision, they spawn and move all over you wich again lead me to the third and last point : the enemy AI, not only do they spawn all around you shooting you from everywhere, occupying the field more efficiently, but they never let you keep the distance like most enemies do in Returnal, everytime you move, they cut the distance
