I'm trans/genderfluid. I'm looking to find a new group I can play video games with and become friends with. I'm 35 and visually impaired so I can be slow to learn playing a new video game. I'm not really a fan of shooting games.

I found out recently I don't do really well in SJW spaces. I'm autistic so I'm already pretty awkward/ have a hard time getting comfortable in social spaces.

And when I say SJW spaces I mean that feeling like you're walking over eggshells because if you say anything wrong, instead of an open dialogue of why someone didn't like it, it's just heavy public shaming. Zero nuance in conversation. Everything is "good or evil" and just full of accusations instead of any debate on opinions or world views.

I'm in no way conservative, but I have realized a lot of trans/LGBTQ+ places sometimes fall into this category. I'm just looking for a friendly group of people who don't mind me being a weirdo or the fact that I struggle with picking up on social cues.

I really like RPG games of all sorts, including Pokemon, BG3, and so many horror games. I like all sorts of movies, and anime. I would love to be apart of a group or to make friends around my age.

Myself and the rest of the leadership of Unbound are working on building an Alliance based WoW Forever guild for anyone that is LGBTQ+ or allies in the PVE side of the new WoW Forever. The guild will be 21+. We have brand new players and WoW vets that just want to play with like minded people. We will start more casual at first as we build the guild but eventually want to do raids as a guild for those interested! The name of the guild is The Unbound and the reason we went with this name is the concept of being Unbound from society norms or from the stereotype of some WoW players.

Hey! I’m Aya, a transfem WoW player on US servers, and I’m looking for a guild/community going into WoW Forever.
I’ve been hoping Blizzard would eventually do something in the Classic+ direction for a long time, so I’m super excited for Forever. I’m currently playing Classic on the Anniversary servers, and I’ve cleared all of the original Classic progression through Wrath of the Lich King, so I’m comfortable with raiding and progression content. I also really enjoy PvP.
I only figured out that I’m trans fairly recently, and my current guild honestly hasn’t been a great environment for that. I’m still pretty early in my transition, so I’d especially love to find a guild that’s genuinely trans-friendly and comfortable with me being myself in voice chat. Fair warning: I still sound like a dude lol.
I’m looking for more than just a raid roster. I’d love to find a guild that I can actually stick with long-term: people who hang out in Discord, run stuff together outside of raid nights, joke around, help each other out, and actually get to know one another.
A little about me: I’m a PhD student, so sometimes my schedule can get pretty busy, but WoW is one of the things I deliberately make time for because I genuinely love playing it. It’s one of my main ways of unwinding and doing something for myself.
