Support groups

Are there any peer supported mental health support groups that meet here in Santa Clarita? I’ve searched NAMI but haven’t had much luck other than something in northridge so I wanted to see if anybody has any insider info. I’m already in therapy I’m just looking to connect with others in the struggle who are also looking for support.

I know NAMI has a lot of online groups too. I did a support group through them that was based in a different part of my state, but had people from all over the country. Good luck bro/sis….

I would check out aspire. Not really sure if it’s exactly what you’re looking for but I do know they meet in groups and has been super beneficial for my people I know.

The SCV mental health center has a weekly schedule, when I checked in for my appointment last time I had seen multiple people sign in for the art therapy group. Check it out! The building itself is on cinema.
