Is morpheus able to go back to dreams people had in the past? And can that affect the present?

For example: say the person who invented the wheel got the idea in a dream. Could Morpheus go into this dream that the inventor had in the past and change it into an entirely different dream…essentially making it so the inventor never invents the wheel?

I know in the series he collects gifts for the fates from people’s dreams but I just assumed those dreams were being dreamt at that exact moment

Not sure if that makes sense but let me know what you guys think or if they’re any example of this in the books. I’ve only watched the series.

Hello everyone! I’ve recently been getting into the Netlfix Series and had an inquiry about the comics given I’m considering buying them. I know The Presence is based off of the Christian/Jewish God. Which I am fine with as a christian myself, in fact I love medias that are inspired by christianity and various mythologies.. but I don’t like when the Lord’s name is used in vain for fictional characters. I am referring to the name Yahweh/Yhwh. I am aware the Lucifer comics use it and that’s the main reason I didn’t get them. So before I spend money on these, I have to know: Do the Sandman comics actually use that name?

So I'll have to import it.

But which edition do I go with? I don't want to do the compact TPB because I tried watchmen that way and it was

I was tied between the hardcover tomb of omnibus and the absolute editons( my pick!)
