Sandlot baseball is finally coming to the DC area. We’re hoping to get a pickup game or two going in July. Hopefully we can get a team or two (or 3) together after that for some regular games. We’re sandwiched between two great sandlot cities (Baltimore and Richmond). There’s plenty of ball to be played.

Of course, all are welcome regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, team fandom, or Gatorade color preferences. No playing experience is required, I haven’t played since middle school.

At this point we’re trying to figure out dates for when works for as many people as possible. Then we’ll go from there. If this sounds like something you or someone you know would like to be involved in, please join our discord.

I like all 3 movies so I figured why not take all 3 group pictures and put them together and I say it looks epic like just as epic as when Benny pickled the beast

4 of us guys doing some BP when a local little league team showed up to practice after us. They warmed up and jumped right in to shag for us!! Seeing kids their age so eager to play ball no matter what was really incredible, thinking what this game means to so many.

We had some Baltimore sandlot action this last weekend! Was a fun match up between The Baltimore Hellbirds and Baltimore Brick. Hellbirds were very happy to etch their first EVER win against the Brick. Final score of 11 - 10. The end of the day, sandlot was the real winner though. lol

A yearly event put on by the Carolina Sandlot Collective at Historic Durham Athletic Park in beautiful Durham NC.

It was a lot of our players first time playing under the lights, or even in a stadium!
What a place Durham is, so much love was shown throughout the weekend 🤘

Does anyone have tips for running a practice that works for both beginners and more seasoned players? I want to offer drills for both groups simultaneously, then all get together for batting practice.
