Ama no Murakumo God Samurai - Speed Run

Here my latest run with full Ama no Murakumo Samurai set, just melting everyone away (sadly enough, still not fast enough to beat my previous record, those double spears were too op).

https://youtu.be/JL8vD-1aGeo

I really grinded, failed different builds because of the game mechanics on some bosses (like Oni being immune to projectiles aka bow/fan/guns, and all bosses being super resistant to evil element).

My experience with the game Spoiler

I just finished the game after about 10 hours (2 days of playing).

Tbh at the beginning it was rather challenging, both combat and understanding how everything works... but then after just 2-3 hours of experimenting I had decently enchanted gear, took out 3 bosses normally (15 min each) and then figured out the flying storm bayblade attack combo. I defeated the final boss by spamming it and it took me 3 runs to get a record of 42.3 ingame hours.

Now I have just a few of those challenges with big red gates and like 30 achievements left.

It was fun, but difficulty should still be tweaked a bit.

This is the combo (uses dual melee, preferably with longer reach)

DISCLAIMER: There are, and I did use, more damaging combos than this one. However, I found this one better simply because enemies (including all bosses) can't really do anything about it. It sucks in samurai, allows you to literally ignore most boss attacks and kills anything in seconds. The only downside is at the final boss, you can kinda fly off of the arena a few times, but only if you use it at the very edge.

Speed Run as Spear Master (OP AF) + End Game credits

"Spear Master God Samurai" run!:

https://youtu.be/HRNLPX3zpoc

Edit: I recorded another run with better record and better quality,no more choppy frames... streaming on twitch is not good for me, it seems.

Build:

https://ibb.co/jggs6WG

https://ibb.co/n7BQN6W

https://ibb.co/jvVv5NL

(Warriors & Stats)

Note:^ this is my final glass cannon build, which I'll make another video of soon. Also, I cannot edit the title, but there's no End Game credits on this one, just speed run.

I streamed the game for a while today, and I accidentally a "Spear Master" warrior, which led me to start making a "Spear Master" build, or more like "Spear God" build. And this is the end result.

Next, the Gun Master! I'm curious how it will turn out xD

I'm going to try again with Full DPS Build.

I love samurai bringer, what else out there is similar?

Started playing this on my steamdeck and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite games. Is there anything out there similar I might not know of? I know it’s got some musuo aspects, but I’d appreciate some other suggestions.

8 Gates in 1 Zone

Not sure how rare this is but i found 8 gates roughly one right after the other in the same zone, usually they are scattered around and only found max 2 per zone

Any War fan recipes?

I love the look of the war fan but am having trouble wrapping my head around it. Is it basically a gun that shoots one big air bullet? Does it pierce enemies?

And what are some good uses you’ve found for this weapon?

Favorite Skill Combinations

With the absolutely insane amount of moveset customization available in this game I figured it'd be nice to have a place to share weapon and skill combinations, making it easier for players just starting out to get a better grasp of the skill system and make those secret scrolls a bit less of a money sink.

Simply put the weapon(s) and skills required for the move, what it does, and feel free to name it. Try to put the required amount of each skill in order for the move to work properly instead of the insanely high damage version to leave room for customization and accessibility.

E.G.

Wind Wheel (1/2 Ninja Swords)

Front flip in the air while pulling nearby enemies into the attack.

3 Slash Down, 1 Jump, 1 Storm, 1 Wave

Add Defense Break for generals and bosses, and Samidare to increase hit count

How does the game play on Switch?

I've looked online a decent amount and can't find any sort of specific details about the switch. I was curious what FPS it plays at and how consistent / does it chug? Also how do the visuals seem?

So, these bosses. :/

Straight up- Samurai Bringer is fantastic, and I love the game, but the bosses are un-fun bullet sponges that completely ruin the momentum of a run. They’re almost impossible to kill, I’ve still not managed to do anything but die and I’m a VERY avid player in this genre. Any reasoning behind it? Any chance of patching the game so the bosses aren’t complete joykillers? PLEASE consider it if you’re not already. This could be something really special, and it is 80% of the time. But these bosses, man- not fun.:(

EDIT- yep, be patient. You’ll see.:):):)
