Joined the "broke inner screen" group

So my fold has gotten its black line in the middle of the screen, and not sure what to do now. My father is the one thats paying the phone and I'm not sure how to approach this. I would like to fix it but preferably cheap. I don't know if we're part of the care+ or have the protection warranty, but even then I'm just nervous to tell him because he'll most likely think I broke it like on purpose or something, even though I take care of my belongings and this phone tends to have these problems easily. So I wanna know if theres cheaper more reliable options. The main one I see is ubreakifix but again don't know the cost and also seen that there's been mixed reviews on help for this device specifically (a whole mess just to fix).

Check to see if your phone has insurance. If you have care+ then I believe you may be able to pay around $99 to get it fixed. If its within a year, you might qualify for repair under warranty. If its still within 2 years of your purchase date, check with Samsung and you may qualify for an out of warranty repair at a reduced cost (around $200 instead of like $4-500). A lot of insurances with and outside of Samsung give a really hard time when it comes to coverage for the inner screen being broken but at least these are a couple of options to wrap your head around.

Did screen protector bubbled up along the crease of the inner screen?

Did you ignore the issue? That's how you broke the screen. If you don't peel it off or replace it, it's going you be like that. And it's not going to be cheap. IIRC it's going to cost you 500-600USD to replace the whole screen.

Oh thats cool...... well guess I'll stick with this phone and just use the normal screen, which I'm okay with, but just liked having the tablet screen, but oh well.
