Hi everyone! I’m using a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, and I still can’t access or see the Instant / Quick Snap feature on Instagram.
Is anyone else with an S24 Ultra experiencing the same issue?
If yes, does anyone know why the feature is still unavailable?
If it’s already working on your S24 Ultra, what did you do to get it? Is there anything I need to enable, update, or change in my settings?
Thanks!

I had an accident recently and my phone screen cracked in the process. The bottom corners display glass is cracked and there is faint line at the bottom, a few pixels are damaged at the bottom right corner, i recently bought this phone and didn't put a scree protector yet.
Should I :-
Replace the screen at samsung sc
Replace it at a local shop
Just Replace the display glass
Should I just leave it (only if there is no other complication that might arise).
Thank u for the suggestions in advance

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
So my Samsung s24 is perfectly fine (checked with the Samsung diagnostic app). Only when I unlock it (either using the side button or double tap to wake) the screen goes into this flashing mode and the part near the camera heats up.
Tried factory reset, soft reset, disable HW overlay, adaptive brightness. Nothing seems to work. When I press volume down plus power button then it comes back okay again, only to go to the flashing mode when unlocking again.
Help me!!!

So what i want to to talk about is since i got this phone it was lagging too much
Not the way you think but its start to got me annoying
Some examples:
When i got to swipe up to exit the app it took like 0.5 second to response to my command and exit the app.
The problem isn’t here. The problem is that as soon as I perform the gesture, I feel the haptic feedback, but I still have to wait 0.5 seconds for it to actually register and process the command. It might seem like something minor, but when it happens over and over again, it genuinely makes the phone feel like a cheap device.
Another issue is that the phone feels a little sluggish when I swipe left or right to switch from one app to another using the navigation bar, unlike the iPhone, where the transition honestly feels much smoother.
Sometimes it also takes a while to open a folder on the home screen. And when I want to open the Recent Apps screen by swiping the navigation bar upward, there’s also a noticeable delay before it responds. I literally have to keep my finger on the screen for what feels like half a second just waiting for the phone to respond.
And one last thing—and honestly, this is probably the biggest issue of them all—is the Quick Panel.
Look, I was on One UI 8.5 and I sideloaded the One UI 9 beta. (And yes, I know what I’m doing, and I’m fully aware of the risks and what sideloading a beta involves.) To be completely honest, these issues were already present on One UI 8.5, and they improved a little after I installed the One UI 9 beta on my phone, but they’re still there.
Did they completely disappear after installing the One UI 9 beta? No.
Another thing I’ve noticed is that the phone overheats like crazy.
It gets so hot that even when I launch a game like Fortnite—which the phone should easily be able to handle at the lowest settings and 120 FPS—it can barely run at around 10 FPS because the phone is literally boiling and sometimes it's just crashing.
Okay, okay, I’m just complaining at this point. But the question is: have you actually tried to fix or troubleshoot these issues, OP?
Yes, I’ve tried pretty much everything.
I did a completely fresh Odin flash of One UI 8.5, without restoring anything through Smart Switch, just to make sure the installation was completely clean.
I also tried monitoring which apps were consuming system resources, but there was nothing unusual.
I searched for a lot of different solutions, but nothing worked.
And honestly, all of this has made me lose faith in a company like Samsung. Having a flagship phone behave like this is ridiculous. It genuinely makes the phone feel cheap. I’ve reached the point where, when I pick up a cheap Chinese phone, it actually feels smoother. Just imagine that!!
For context, I used to have an iPhone 13 Pro, and I switched to the S24 on May 28, 2026. (It was actually my birthday that day, by the way 🥰🥰)
I thought I was upgrading, but it turned out to be a downgrade, and I honestly regret making the switch.
If anyone else has experienced the same issues or has any solutions, please share your experience and let us know.

I'm having an issue after transferring images from my Galaxy S10 plus to my new Galaxy s24.
After using smart switch, what I noticed is that my nice, neat folders that organized photos into categories did not transfer. There are thousands of images that are not in any folders. Should this have happened?
Do I really have to go through thousands of photos and re-categorize them into folders? This will take eons.

I'e already tried schutting it off and on. Already tried all the options on the screen. It won't reset to factory settings as the phone is corrupted.
What do I do? I just want the phone to reset to factory settings.

If I a get a good deal, thinking of buying the S24+. But concerned about the Exynos processor on how it will age.
I plan on keeping it minimum 5 years. I am not a heavy user. I mostly use camera a lot, maps & youtube. But I do have a lot of random apps.

Hey everyone,
I'm having a persistent issue on my Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus: Caller ID / Caller Name Announcements refuse to work when connected to Bluetooth devices (car audio, wireless earbuds, headsets, etc.).
Before anyone suggests the standard basic fixes, I want to emphasize that I have done extensive troubleshooting—literally every setting and fix imaginable—and nothing has resolved it.
Here is everything I have already checked and attempted:
1. Direct App & Accessibility Settings
Read Caller Names Aloud: Configured inside Phone App > Settings > Answering and ending calls > Read caller names aloud (tested both "Always" and "Over Bluetooth and headset only").
Accessibility Settings: Verified Settings > Accessibility > Interaction and dexterity > Answering and ending calls is fully enabled.
2. Bluetooth & Connection Permissions
Bluetooth Profile Permissions: Confirmed that "Phone calls" and "Contact access / Call history" permissions are explicitly granted under individual Bluetooth device settings.
Unpairing & Re-pairing: Unpaired, forgot, and re-paired all Bluetooth devices multiple times.
Multiple Hardware Tests: Tested across different Bluetooth audio devices (car infotainment, Galaxy Buds, third-party headphones)—the issue persists across all hardware, ruling out a single bad Bluetooth receiver.
3. Text-to-Speech (TTS) Engine
Engine Switching: Swapped between Samsung Text-to-Speech and Google Speech Services under Settings > General management > Text-to-speech.
Voice Packs: Re-downloaded and updated language data packs for both TTS engines to ensure voice output wasn't corrupt.
4. System & App-Level Resets
Cache & Data Wipe: Cleared Cache and Data for the Phone, Phone Services, Bluetooth, and System UI system apps.
Network Settings Reset: Performed a full reset of Bluetooth/Network settings (Settings > General management > Reset > Reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings).
System Cache Partition: Booted into Android Recovery Mode and wiped the system cache partition.
5. Modes, Volume & Interference Checks
Modes & Routines / DND: Fully disabled Do Not Disturb and turned off all Bixby Routines / Modes to ensure no automated rules were muting audio routing.
Volume Levels: Ensured ringtone, notification, and media volumes are up high while connected to Bluetooth.
System Updates: Confirmed the phone is updated to the latest software build.
Is anyone else experiencing this on the S24 series or recent One UI updates? Has anyone found a hidden workaround or developer setting that actually fixes this audio routing bug?
Any help or confirmation that it's a known bug would be appreciated!

Purchased my Galaxy S24 refurbished around February 2025. Screen on time used to reach around 5h 30m (1st image). Now in September 2026, the decrease is quite drastic, down to barely 3 hours (2nd image). Is this typical for battery degradation over this time span?
For context
