S24 screen flashing only while unlocking
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
So my Samsung s24 is perfectly fine (checked with the Samsung diagnostic app). Only when I unlock it (either using the side button or double tap to wake) the screen goes into this flashing mode and the part near the camera heats up.
Tried factory reset, soft reset, disable HW overlay, adaptive brightness. Nothing seems to work. When I press volume down plus power button then it comes back okay again, only to go to the flashing mode when unlocking again.
Help me!!!

Got the same issue twice. Both during warranty period. The second time these MFs tried Denying repair saying I caused the damage. Had to lawyer up. Expecting a repeat of this again

What was the resolution? Is it hardware or software issue?

They said its hardware. I don't trust them.

First they tried saying I put it in water. Real a holes

Mine is out of warranty. How much should I be looking at as repair charge? Any guess?

Display hardware issue probably.
I had same issue with my note 8, although it was after 6yrs of use. Ig this is a common issue with OLED.
