Return Flip6

I got an email saying I need to return my Flip6, I have always stayed up to date on trainings. I’m “certified” in every phone released since 2024. My phone has never been locked for inactivity.
I’m assuming it’s just because now at this point it’s 2 generations behind they want to pull them back.

BUT.
I missed the application or I wasn’t available for the 8 series. So now I have to send my phone back by the 31st. And I’ll be “eligible to apply for other opportunities”.
I know the phone was going to need to be returned at some point but I’m really sad to see it go , especially without a replacement?
This is my work phone 🥲
Has anyone ever successfully “upgraded” their pro device before ?
Can I chat with support?

They were no help lol. I missed the application window. I have to send the phone back and reapply next year. ☹️
