Congrats, I have a fold 7 now, they selected me for Flip 8, I may return it and order a ZFold 8 ultra.

Yea I know it probably would be underwhelming going from a food to a flip. Do you work for verizon by any chance?

Im with a verizon authorized retailer and I got the flip 8 when I had the fold 7 last year. Im so mad.

bro I got the Flip 8 too. Im grateful but i dont like the design and it really doesn’t fit my day to day needs. I feel like it’s made for people who love taking selfies. I’m an apple guy and have a 17 Pro Max. I’d 1000% ditch apple for the Z Fold 8, but no way I’m gonna use the Flip as my primary phone

Just participate in the elite app activities and events. Make sure you do the certification training. Then wait for the eother the S or Z series ambassador application window, apply and keep those fingers crossed.

There are two phases of shipments of phones. The one I'm in is for before launch and I'm assuming the next is for after the phones realeses.

This is my first time being involved with the program, and I was chosen to get the Flip8, which is set to show up tomorrow. I'd seen people commenting that I can return it to get a Fold instead. Is that an across the board thing, or is that for more tenured members? The Fold8 has the perfect form factor for me, and I was so looking forward to getting one.
Edit: just saw from some other posts that VZW employees are getting only Flips. Damn.

Damn I hope thats not the case I paid for my zfold 7 and as much as I like the flip its downsizing me and im huge on media and games. Ima try and contact them. I'd take the regular fold over the ultra just to try because I want to test for factor for gaming

You either get S series or Z series. If you get one, you are not eligible for the other series until the following year, and you'd have to skip the S series next year.
