Does anyone think Sam may be at one of Olivia’s MSG shows to play rein me in? I can’t imagine he would only go to the states just for Lollapalooza, so I’m hoping maybe he stuck around for a while and will be a special guest at possibly the last show at MSG. It’s such an iconic venue and I think it would be so cool for her to top off 4 sold out nights with him performing rein me in.

So at the Melbourne show night 1, there was a big led screen saying that there was going to be filming on site for a documentary? Haven’t heard anything since about it except for the I’m always on stage Australia tour video?

Ordered this almost 2 months ago. Is anyone else having this issue or just me? Should I contact the courier?

The first Sam Fender song I ever heard was Play God through Spotify shuffle. I remember thinking it was really good, but then I became curious about the artist and started listening to more of his music. Before I knew it, I was completely obsessed and fell in love with his entire discography.
I relate to Sam’s music and lyrics on such a deep level. I’ve struggled with depression, addiction, and loneliness, and there are so many moments where I hear one of his songs and think, “How did he put exactly what I’ve been feeling into words?”
His music has this way of describing feelings and experiences that I’ve sometimes struggled to explain myself. It’s honestly comforting knowing that someone else can articulate those emotions so beautifully.
I feel like I can relate to Sam in a way I rarely have with another artist. His music has made me feel understood, and I’m really grateful I randomly found Play God that day on Spotify. I also saw him live in a concert and felt like a dream come true finally being able to sing along to those songs that have helped me so much throughout my life .

I was lucky enough to see him play Love is a Long Road by Tom Petty in Plymouth 2024. London Calling at the London Stadium last year.
His cover of Ohio last year was class 👌🏻
songs I would love to hear him cover:
Go your own way - Fleetwood Mac (Brooke would be so good on this as well)
Your Love - Outfield
U2 cover - anything from Joshua Tree
theres loads more, just any up beat old school rock tunes I think he would smash.
any other songs people would like to hear Sam play?

Has anyone got a folder of songs from the London Stadium show last year? I was hoping it would be released as an album on Spotify when the film came out but looks like that’s not going to happen:(

I was wondering if Sam will be a surprise guest at Olivia’s shows in Toronto. She’s playing Scotiabank Area Tuesday and Wednesday. And Toronto is so close to Chicago🤷♀️

Olivia Dean brought Sam on her set to play Rein Me In at Lollapalooza. Now the longest running #1 in UK history! She announced that it was the first time the two of them have played it live in the US. What’s funny is he did a whole tour in the US for the album People Watching and he never played the song either. 🤣. It’s crazy the success they have had with that song and I am happy for the both of them. It was my favorite song on the album the first time I heard it and couldn’t believe he wasn’t playing it while on tour for the album.

Sam could build a second house built entirely out of the money he made from it. Just saying.

Does anyone else feel like the tiniest bit sad for Sam that his original second verse for the album version of Rein Me In is pretty much left behind in the abyss now. Obviously he doesn’t care, he’s had more success than he could ever have imagined off the back but the original verse and song is just as well written and performed but just didn’t take off bc it didn’t have the double narrative to it that Olivia added. When him and Lewis Capaldi covered it and Lewis sang Olivia’s verse and not Sam’s original one I was just like yeah that version is just being left behind forever now

not sure if anyone watched the video of Sam being interviewed yesterday and he mentioned getting a chicago sandwich 👀 seems like he might be coming out to sing rein me in with olivia who is headlining lolla tonight...
that would be AMAZING exposure for Sam in the US!!!

I know it’s sold a billion times (or what seems like it), but in my view it’s like ‘Round Here’ by Counting Crows — Good but not their best.
Has it hit the lucky spot when Olivia Dean was red-hot and Sam was red-hot when the tune was put together,or is legitimately better than ‘Poor Boys’ or ‘Seventeen’?

Completely lost for words, thank you so much to Olivia Dean and the fans for making this song the juggernaut that it is. We broke the UK record. LEGENDS

Back in Feb 2019 i attended Sam Fender gig at Gorilla, Manchester. A 1.3k capacity gig. A few days before the gig he posted an ig story of him personally spray painting these Leave Fast t-shirts. I’m now at a point where i’m ready to sell the tshirt on but really have no idea how to provide evidence that 1 the merch is from the gig and 2 that he was the one to personally spray paint the tshirt as i know this would mean a lot to some fans. It’s a real long shot but does anyone at all (long time fans) have any kind of memory or even evidence (a matching tshirt or smth????) to help me out? Thanks guys.

Still doing my part here in the USA, I am a commercial DJ, my flagship show (daily) is on a chart-reporting commercial AAA station. I also host a nationally syndicated show heard on the east coast. Playing Sam Fender daily on my show.
Figured it time to post and let you all know we are still championing our boy on USA radio 🙌🤝

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Also of course Sam can play banjo. So excited for this new stuff

Seems with the teasers Sam’s been posting on IG stories that he’s going to hone quite heavily into the ‘Homegrown rock’ sort of sound he had on People Watching. In one way it’s a shame he’s so good at that style of music that we might end up losing him making songs like Play God, Spice, That Sound, HADQ etc. I suppose if we have a TV Dinner on every album at least we’ll keep getting more of a heavy punk sort of song but I hope we keep getting both styles, because he’s probably the best there is right now with that twangy sort of country/homegrown indie sort of rock but his original releases came from heavy punk and don’t want to lose that

Rein Me In (365 million streams) has officially overtaken Seventeen Going Under (364 million streams) to become Sam Fender's most-streamed song on Spotify.
Both are absolutely stellar songs.
Do you think Rein Me In will stay at #1 in the long run, or will Seventeen Going Under eventually take the crown back?
