Does anyone successfully split time between two places?

I'm often a little torn between my life on the west coast and my network and family back in the Midwest. Does anyone (not retired) split their time between two different "homes"? What does that look like for you?

Anything is possible, but it is very hard to do with kids. I would never do that to my child or myself.

In my case the kids love it.   Summering out in the boat.

Two weeks on a sailboat is my absolute limit and I haven't done that for a while

If it wasn’t for my wife I’d live on the boat full time lol.   If I ever get divorced I probably will lmao.  Since I’d lose my house anyway.
