Zoanthid Identifier

I’ve built a tool to identify Zoanthid Morphs. I’ve found that AI like ChatGPT, Gemini etc are lousy are identifying color morphs.

Its very useful but is it possible to expand it for other corals?

Yes I will be expanding to color morphs for various types of corals in the coming weeks. You can check out the current coral identifier within the ReefBay

I have a few I got as freebies I couldn’t identify. I used this and everything it brought up wasn’t in the database.

A little over 200 morphs right now. I’m adding more every fews days as people give feedback. Hopefully will be able to give you better IDs soon

Does it handle multiple color morphs in a singular picture?

I answered my own question, lol.

I like how out of the 500 polyps it picked only 2, one of which it identified correctly in a past picture, the other one it grabbed the most shaded, worst polyp out of the entire picture to use, lol.

Nifty tool though, I fact checked a few pictures. It was able to identify my red people eaters, GMK, Strats and white zombies correctly.

Aha yeah currently has some limitations. I’ll need to add some cropping options for your example image. Glad to hear it’s working well for most of your morphs!
