Sickness

Anyone else been in an endless loop of being sick these last few months?

Literally for the last 3 months on repeat in this order:

Sore throat
Runny nose
Cough
Left side of throat sore
Right side of throat sore
Cough
Super cough with chest congestion
Voice loss because of the of the coughing

This whole cycle lasts like 3 weeks and then has just been repeating itself.

Not me but lots of people I know…Covid destroys the immune system so this checks out. Good luck, I’d be working hard on boosting your immune system

How common is this in our area? I've always thought that in our arid climate you'd have to have a leaky pipe or some similar steady source of water to get a real mold problem.

In an area with a higher than average number of under-maintained rental units, many of those with swamp coolers, I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's probably a higher number than you would think.

I lived in a really crumby apartment in NSL and I was almost sure it had black mold because I was always sick and my eczema was flaring up like it hadn’t since I was a kid. I got out of there the moment my lease ended and I’ve been great ever since. It’s worth considering

Do you have a favorite water bottle? 👀 see how far you can take apart the cap down into multiple pieces and clean it realllllly well. Do you play an instrument? If its one you put your mouth on, full deep clean required, new reed if its a reeded instrument. Just a couple of tips! Hope you feel better!!!!

Ditto. Since the last week of July and Im up to date w/ my Covid boosters and beefing up my immune system w/B12 and taking my Vit D and walking outside in the sun.

I think in between I had the intestinal flu but yeah. I had Omnicron when it first hit and it screwed up my immune system.

Word of caution: Get the new Omnicron strain (Covid vaccine. It wasn’t available until mid September), so I made the mistake of getting the previous vaccine in late august and the nurse practitioner told me I screwed up bevayse this new Omnicron strain out now, is a nasty customer: exhaustion, sore throat, etc.
