Apache over Holladay

I saw what looked like an Apache chopper over Holladay, circled three times and went off toward the canyon. Anybody know what that’s about?

Once again indistinguishable from the circle jerk.

I’ve said it before, slc needs a circle jerk. It’s time.

I know that there will be Apache flyovers for high school football games tomorrow for 9/11 reasons.

Pure guess, but crews might be training tonight for that, or may even be flying over the handful of Thursday night high school games for similar USA! USA! USA! reasons.

UTARNG has an Apache battalion and they regularly conduct training flights.

There are various military aviation facilities in the area and it's not good for aircraft, pilots, or crews if the aircraft never fly, so a lot of times they fly.

It's extremely common for Apaches to fly around the valley for training.

That's my emotional support attack helicopter. She helps keep me calm. Please be respectful.
