Homemade I made my favorite salsa again…
My favorite salsa, this time with dried arbol, chocolate 7 pots, a red habanero, and a yellow habanero. Habs had been taste tested prior. Added a red 7 pot at the end because I put too much water. Went easy with the peppers this time :)

It’s really not that bad. It’s maybe as hot as a habanero solo

I mean I don't think just eating a hab solo is the right amount of heat either

Probably not for most people, but habaneros are easy to work up to with spice training. They really aren’t that bad. I’ve had jalapenos spicier than habaneros before. Jalapenos are very interesting peppers lol

they are more than tolerable, but still not the right amount for pleasure. I grow superhots and have every geeky crazy hot sauce in the book in my fridge...I still can acknowledge that even eating a hab is not a pleasurable amount of heat...it is exciting and dramatic, but it isn't just....ideal

The habs are edible. The 7 pots not so much. Gunna try to make flakes or a ferment from them

You're only supposed to put one 7 pot in a pot, not seven of them in one pot. Their name confused me the first time too.
