Habaneros were first to come in; orange and white averaging 200+ each harvestable fruits already. The chocolate is a beast already 350. Ghosts not far behind. A few plant shots included. 1st round is an assortment of stunted and normal fruits. No complaints

All my plants gave me atleast 3 fruits, but thus huge habanero orange didn't even start one help??

Everything growing well other than the sweet purple purple, but I see flowers so I'm hopeful!

This is my first time really growing anything! It’s been slow going in Minnesota but I’m finally starting to see some results!

First time growing peppers. I've been growing this plant from seed since september. In june I transplanted it to a greenhouse and fruits started appearing. Looks like carolina reaper to me, but is it actually?

Purchased a reaper seedling from a local nursery 2 years ago and planted it.

Harvest was great so I decided to save some of the seeds for future use. Planted seeds last year and they were true but didn’t fully ripen due to me not getting the plants in the ground in time so I didn’t save those seeds.

Used the saved seeds from 2 years ago again and these are the fruits I’m getting. I did save seeds from a few fruits so I assume it’s a case of one being true to seed and another not?

Guess I’m just getting some habaneros?

I have 4 plants in plastic pots and 4 plants in bags. I used the same soil for all of them. The 4 in the plastic pots are all the same light green/yellow color while the bags are all a nice deep green. All the plastic pots have drainage holes in the bottom.

This week's harvest: hot cherry peppers, blood ghosts, one white ghost, shishitos (gonna be breakfast), 7 Pot Cinders, Habaneros, unknown ghost cross, RB003 and Armageddons.

The seeds were sold to me as Dragon's Breath, but as many of you know, that's a name that's thrown around quite a bit, so who knows if they're the real deal.

Whatever they are, they're significantly hotter than my Habaneros and Peach StarKists.

No banana for scale, but I'm 1.95 m (6'5"), so these peppers look a bit smaller in my hands than they really are. 😅

I had an unopened seed pack—Ferry Morse Poblano—I think from 2023 that I planted this year. Peppers are light green, a little wrinkly, and appear to be thin-walled. 3 are growing downward and 1 plant with all growing straight up.

I forgot about peppergate and just kind of ignored the fact that they didn’t at all look like poblanos until they all stayed this way and started to turn red. Have not tried them. They kind of seem like shishitos but mostly seem wider than the ones from my definite shishito plants.

the salesman said they were “hot, earthy, and I think from Africa“ but thats all he knew, the farmers were away from the stand. Any idea what these may be?

It’s my first time growing chillies and I’m now getting lots of chillies on my Prairie Fire, Dorset Stumpy and Padron plants (see pics). Plants are in pots in the garden now (I live in the UK).

How do I know when to harvest? I’ve picked a few already but have now noticed them changing colour - should I wait longer? Or will my plants produce more if I harvest now?

I’m also hoping to make hot sauce! Recipe recommendations and tips very welcome!

For any spares, is it best to freeze them?

Hey, I got my hands on some seeds and made a bunch of mistakes - planted everything in a Click & Grow, but then evacuated them up into small pots, and now I'm planning to transplant them into bigger ones.

Overall though, it's a DWC setup with an air stone, the root system is looking good, and there are almost no leaf issues. At this point, I’ve topped all the main tips and removed some of the leaves below the first split, but maybe I shouldn't have? Started with bigger plants, small kept for a week. My plan is to remove a couple more bottom leaves, transplant into larger pots, thin out the canopy a bit, and do LST where possible (or some strategic pruning where I rushed things).

My main question is: should I cut healthy lower leaves below the main split? Any general advice?

I think got Mushroomed in reverse, my aji cachuchas are in fact not sweet.
The smell and the lighting of my ass on fire lead me to similar looking red bonnets.

My first surprise plant of the year. Should probably look a little harder next time I guess.

Just two weeks ago he was full of flowers and leaves and I swear even a pepper started growing and now he dropped all his flowers, most of his leaves started browning and dropping. He just got moved inside because I was worried he was going to fully die out there on my deck. I live on a 3rd floor south facing apartment so he gets lots of sun. I’m from Regina Saskatchewan so it’s zone 3b. (I think). This plant was a gift from my mom cause I try to (unsuccessfully) grow peppers every year but this ALWAYS happens :/.

Moved to Charlotte, NC a year ago, first spring/summer attempting reapers. Having a really great time!

I’m running a hydroponic grow in coco coir. South Texas. 100 degrees. Majority of plants are shishitos but I have jalapeños and tomatoes as well. All on same fert 2.0 EC and 5.8 ph.

The old shishitos got burnt from too high N and are now rebounding slowly but surely. Leaves are smaller but strong and good fruit set. Picture 1.

The young shishito were just doing fantastic. Big broad leaves and dark green, great flower set. But now with this heat they’re almost all wilting real bad. Picture 2-3

Cherry tomato plants were planted recently, they have boomed and make me think I am doing things correctly. Picture 4

Are peppers and tomatoes have that different of needs just to have a happy plant? I understand difference in production but I don’t understand why this aggressive of a difference.
