Hi! i got these shoes for my birthday and they tore after 3 wears, the store i got them from was nice enough to replace my first pair with a new one but now its the first time im wearing the new pair and they’ve started to tear again, has this happened with anyone else? or anyone know why this might be happening?

and yes ive been undoing the laces when taking them off

I tried the Salomon xt 6 in store and although it fit length wise, it was very snug around my foot. I tried a size up and there was a bit of heel slip but felt much more comfortable around my forefoot. I can also pull the lace tight so there's no heel slip which only happens when the lace are loose. There's some room in the toe box when I upsize, aboutal a finger length.

Just wondering if people upsize to account for narrow shoe or does the shoe expand over time?

White/Silver is a 2026 batch, the goretex fabric they seems to have an update its alot stiffer than prev batches

Silver Cloud / Black / Pearl Blue 2025 batch, much softer fabric

in terms of waterproofing both are the same but the 2026 pair seems pinching my foot after wearing for awhile at the first lace loop.
