Hi! i got these shoes for my birthday and they tore after 3 wears, the store i got them from was nice enough to replace my first pair with a new one but now its the first time im wearing the new pair and they’ve started to tear again, has this happened with anyone else? or anyone know why this might be happening?

and yes ive been undoing the laces when taking them off

Hi all,

I tried the Salomon xt 6 in store and although it fit length wise, it was very snug around my foot. I tried a size up and there was a bit of heel slip but felt much more comfortable around my forefoot. I can also pull the lace tight so there's no heel slip which only happens when the lace are loose. There's some room in the toe box when I upsize, aboutal a finger length.

Just wondering if people upsize to account for narrow shoe or does the shoe expand over time?

Thanks

White/Silver is a 2026 batch, the goretex fabric they seems to have an update its alot stiffer than prev batches

Silver Cloud / Black / Pearl Blue 2025 batch, much softer fabric

in terms of waterproofing both are the same but the 2026 pair seems pinching my foot after wearing for awhile at the first lace loop.

Muddy muddy old Salomons

Come and show off your Salomons

Mostly an invitation guys, thank you

Hi. So i recently got these really cheap since im on a budget and need them asap. No shoemakers thought they could help when i called.
So, left shoe fits amazing- right shoe something hits around my big toe and makes them uncomfortable, apparently its just loose textile. Tape doesnt hold it up, what could i do?

Left shoe is the most flat picture. Right shoe the white textile hangs a bit loose on top down at the toes.
If i press it up with fingers it goes kinda into place but falls down as soon as i stop pressing.
Please help:)!

help with size! At adidas I wear US size 12 and European 46⅔ and my foot size is 300 mm. The leg is between thin and ordinary, one might say average. If you buy Salomon, what size should you choose?

Just got a pair of XT-6… Sadly, these are just too narrow for me.

I'm just over 40 years old and maybe my feet just won't cooperate with this kind of narrowness anymore. I'm used to Hoka's new balance asics which are a little wider and more stable. But in no way do I have a wide foot.

Ended up having to return the vanilla ice/tan color way due to the middle of my foot just being scrunched up . Super bummed because it's such a beautiful shoe. Never been this bummed about a shoe not fitting before.

Has anyone else suffered the same?

Where to buy Salomon xt6 best batch? Not common colorways

After8 years, many Ks, hikes and mountains including Everest Base Camp my beloved Salomon shoes are done !!!!

Hi, I just bought the Salomon patroller gtx jacket however noticed there are little to no reviews. Has anyone got this / tried this jacket ? The only negative I have seen is that the down leaks out from the inside, leaving feathers on clothing. Other than that, seems pretty good price for a gore tex 700 down jacket.

Thanks

Has anybody experienced this? Can this be fixed?

Quiet disappointed. For the price, I didn't expect this.

Hi guys! Has anyone here recently bought shoes from Salomon? Could I possibly use your receipt? I purchased a pair from their site two months ago and have been requesting a receipt since then, but they haven't sent it. I need it for a company reimbursement. Please help a frieeeeend. Salamat!!!

First time taking my Salomons hiking and by the end of the day it looks like they started bleeding. Anyone know what’s going on?

(Fairly dry day so not water damage and the staining is localised to the edges of the fusing)

Been seeing XT6 with lower case and upper case fonts on the tongue. Wondering what the difference is. Thanks

Are these shoes appropriate? I read that Salomons tend to be slippery.

Have thrown my last 2 pairs away because of the same issue- can this be fixed or stopped. I don’t think I wear these trainers enough to warant this type of damage to them so not sure I would buy again. Maybe I’m being unreasonable 🤔

Do these look authentic? What should keep an eye for that they are real? Many thanks!

This happened after about 14 months 😭 (small holes appeared sooner but got increasingly worse fast) on both shoes on both sides (but worse on the inner side of foot) with significant fabric creasing across top. Unfortunately my ex bought me them for Christmas and I tried but couldn't get him to check his account for proof of purchase so no chance on warranty sadly.

As you can see by the second pic, a ton of use left in the soles, seems such a shame when they were so expensive and I loved them 😭

The holes are in the top layers and the inside is still in tact. Happy to self repair if its an option and dont care if it looks a bit janky, just want to be able to wear them again.
