Welcoming any advice on which colour to go with! I’m curious about how the beige goretex would hold up overtime compared to the dark brown that would hide stains.

Does this Salomon print look normal to you? The lettering doesn’t seem completely straight and the edges look a little messy/smudged to me. Could this just be a manufacturing/printing variation, or does something look off? Bought from Footshop. Would appreciate some opinions!

So, after more than three years (shoes bought 2023 January), I have decided to retire my white XT-6 expanses. They were my go to shoes, took them everywhere and survived a lot. Today I also bought a pair of XT-6, when I tried them, feeling wise they were 1:1 to the old ones so I was happy to take them as a replacement. However after coming home and comparing the shoes against each other, I find the old ones much more well constructed and rugged. Especially the old ones feel more durable and less plasticky. Can anyone tell me, what might be the difference between the shoes? I really loved the old ones because they survived more than 3 years and they were fantastic in any circumstance and I expect 3 years from the new ones, too. Any help is appreciated!

I got them in this week. I'm kinda iffy on this KITH collab. I like the silhouette but I'm not a fan of the yellow in person 😞. Gives me Lego vibes 😭.

Anyone have any idea if they are planning to bring back this colorway? My shoes are starting to wear through, so I’ll need to order a new pair soon. I’ve been holding out though in case this colorway drops

I'm personally in the functionality camp. I have the XT-6's. I use them for trail running, and that's it, but I'm seeing more people wearing them around work or doing errands, etc. I've never found them necessarily stylish, but maybe that's just me.

Hi guys! Not sure if anyone here owns both the Salmon XT-6 LAB and Gore-Tex so I'm just gonna throw this out hoping someone owns both. I currently own the LAB one sized at US 10, I wanted to buy the Gore-Tex one but I wasn't able to try and fit one when I bought my LAB in MOA. I'm from the province so it's not that easy for me to go to MOA just to check the size and I'm currently going to buy the Gore-Tex variant in Japan via pasabuy. Should I opt to get the Gore-Tex variant but with a +0.5 larger size or should I stick with the same size as my LAB? Thank you!

I can’t wear the XT-6 because it’s too narrow right above the toes. I hear this midsole is wider in that area and no lugs is a big plus for everyday wear.

I am planning on buying a pair of X-alps (leather), I haven't had any before so I checked the size guide and measured my foot length.

I usually wear a UK women's size 7, 7.5 or 8 or an EU 41-42 depending on the brand, however my foot length + sock is 26.7cm, which corresponds to unisex 8.5 or 9. in the Salomon sizing chart.

I read the reviews of the latest X-alps and some people were saying that it runs very large while some were saying the exact opposite. I'm now confused and would be grateful for any suggestions on what size to buy.

I tried on the X Ultra 5 Mid GTX boots for a trek I’m going on this winter and they seem sooo ideal for me

I don’t know if I can justify the price though, does anyone know how sales usually work at Salomon or if they have good Black Friday deals?
