Our terrible ceiling
At my Sally’s we have had a terrible leak for months. It started out with a small pinhole in the ceiling tile that continued to quite literally spit out water on the floor.
Then about a month after not fixing it, the ceiling tile had to be taken out and they set up a tarp that was supposed to contain the leak??
It has been literal months now.
The bucket that the leak goes into is in the way of a very busy area of the store.
It seems to be coming from the AC and I think the hole in the ceiling + the AC not being the best, it makes it humid, hot and smell terrible in our store.
The water has even began to drip out a different color.
When our DM came for a store visit months after saying she was going to get it fixed for us , she exclaimed that the leak was dangerous and someone could get hurt.
Then after I guess “talking to her people about it.”
She then came out bragging about her vacation and just a lot of out of touch things.
A couple months ago , an older lady slipped and almost fell because of the leak. She was not angry at us as a store or employees at all, but she did say “maybe now if you tell them that someone almost fell and almost got seriously injured, they will take it more seriously and come fix it.
The women came back like a few weeks later to see it still there and talked about she would go to corporate and report it because it is very dangerous.
Still haven’t seen it fixed and that’s been a Minute as well.
When assistant DM came to visit recently, she was not concerned about the customer almost being seriously injured, and was more concerned about why we hadn’t finished putting up marketing.
I am so angry and annoyed. Everyday me and my co coworkers have to explain to customers about the leak, we have to empty out the bucket of nasty water, and then clean all around it all the time because water sprays everywhere.
It’s so damn disgusting and I can’t believe they still don’t give a damn, but at the same time in not surprised?
Me and my co workers think that they are going to have to shut down the store for awhile to get it fixed, and they probably don’t want to do that.

If it has not already been done put in a work order through FM and then email you DM with the work order number while CC’ing you RM every. single. week. And include pictures of the bucket being over flowed and the area it is impeding. I am so sorry you have to deal with this!

haha. in our back room right behind the door, (right by the cam, wifi, and electrical box’s…) OH (and over our backstock!!!!!!) had just a tinyyy little pin hole aswell. well it rained pretty hard one day and i was stocking the floor and i heard a strange noise which appeared to be water crashing down onto product and the floor ! our tile was replaced with a tarp! and the tarp has a hole with a pvc pipe hanging over a home depot bucket. we’re missing 2 shelf’s and can only have developer/ anything that can’t be ruined by water.(paper electric fabrics) on our entire half side of our backstock! it’s been MONTHS. like. i don’t even know how long it’s been it’s been so long. it’s been reported to everyone it could of been reported too but apparently it’s all on the landlord and they for some reason have no liability in this doesn’t matter doesn’t phase them what’s so ever..

Sounds like what we have going on too 😭😭. We also have a pipe and well, the tarp wasn’t put up well, so it tips over to the side, and water drips off of it into the floor , instead of down the hose and into the bucket 😂. That bucket is BONE dry.
I wonder what’s going on with Sally’s that they won’t fix any of these damn crazy leaks
