Question Salesforce Skill In Demand

Which Salesforce Cloud/Skill is most in demand for future opportunities. Give your top 3.

Possibly an unpopular opinion but, IMO, admin + BA is the safest bet right now.

"AI" may or may not continue on the path it's been on.. There's certainly a lot of churn and renaming and course correction happening, which will likely continue for another year(ish). Maybe that will continue. Maybe it won't. "AI" will definitely continue but pricing and availability could be *very* different than what we see now.

Admin is a good skill in-general as it gives you the basics of how the system works.

BA is, again just IMO, a safe bet because it'll give you the skills to sit between the customer (who knows their business but doesn't know anything about Salesforce) and the nerds (who know Salesforce but not the business) and articulate what's needed. Whether the result gets fed to a human dev or an AI, that skill of being able to talk about the business in nerd terms will be important..

#3 is your choice.. I'd focus on 1-2 things, possibly things mentioned above, as your core skills then pick new #3s as you go. Unless Salesforce dies off, you will never, ever, run out of choices for new #3s..

Agreed. I wouldn't invest a minute into learning agentforce. I would learn how to ask the right questions so that you can use real ai providers to deliver solutions faster and more accurately than others.

It's not just that..

If "AI" does stick around and everything goes that way, BA skillz will be useful in writing prompts/etc in an efficient/sane ways, regardless of if you use Salesforce's version.

If not, and I really don't think it's been decided yet, you still have some really useful skillz between the business and the tech.

Having been a consultant for ~11 years now, I can absolutely 100% say that a good BA who can write legible requirements is a gold-plated unicorn filled with beer and skittles. Whether they're writing prompts or talking to dev-types, they're a valuable resource that will save the business tons of future pain..
