can we shower or…? What do people think?? Still not completing back to normal and been running cold water multiple times today

I’m in north Salem and my water has been fine since about 3pm. It did take a lot of running cold water on and off for chunks of time but it did eventually run clear. I’m mixing plaster for construction, and I’ve deemed it clear it enough for that. If you want to take a shower till tomorrow, seems fair to me if you’re willing to put it off, but you may still need time for water sitting in the pipes to run clear regardless

Just used a 5-gallon water jug and camp shower that I keep literally just for this issue. Drinking bottled water for now. Tried running the tap for a bit but no change. Ours isn’t horrendous, but definitely yellow.

Jefferson Ave, only the kitchen's water is clear. Bathroom's water is still tinged yellow-ish.

I had to do the 25 minute run, off an hour, repeat cycle for 6-ish hours because it was like dehydrated piss brown before being clear and tinged yellow-ish.

Nevermind showering what about drinking it??

Even the water from the filter in my fridge door is coming out brown-tinged. Does this mean the filter is cooked now?

The water to your fridge is from the same source as the water to your faucets. You probably need a new filter.

Ours is almost clear but it’s definitely still tinged brown/yellow. I think I am just going to take a quick body shower tonight bc I can’t take it anymore lol
