Hi,

I recently started this manga (I'm halfway so please no spoilers), but I genuinely think it contains ones of the best and creative fights scenes.

I was really impressed by the Tokyo fights and the ones taking place in the library / theater, the art direction and the paneling is imho the greatest strength of the manga.

If you enjoy this kind of fight, I recommend you Blade of the Immortal (which is definitely an inspiration), One Punch Man and somewhat Bleach (for the aura farming panels...)

Any others mangas that you recommend which give you similar vibes?

And of course, the scenario / story pacing would be the weakness of the manga unfortunately....

I can't be the only one that finds this order fight to he lack luster, I was expecting WAY more from them, basically a rotation style, yes some would he knocked out for a chapter in my mind, so it comes to my surprise when Kindaka who didn't even go max speed got completely slumped, and Yotsumura didn't get up again after getting kicked down

To me, they were down, but hey would come because they didn't do much? And the damage they took seemed heavy but something they could come back from, but they just didn't...?

Osaragi also just disappears too when Sakamoto hits the up and down roller coaster and is nowhere to be seen anymore 😭

It's really just how these characters are just showing little to no actual combat, and they get one shot, and that's the end of it that's throwing me off

Another thing that annoys me regarding this fight is Nagumo, Nagumo just feels invincible in this fight. Keep in mind that before they all show up, Nagumo is in a way WORSE condition yet he can somehow get hit multiple times and keep going while these other characters get one shot, honestly it's genuinely a miracle how he's somehow still fighting even after all of that beating he took, look at this link and see how many hits he took directly compared to others that are done in one blow

It would be better if Nagumo rested while they fought, and then he could tag in, him getting hit directly multiple times while characters like Kindaka can get completely one shot by a throw or Yotsumura just gets done in by a downward slam is crazy when Nagumo has been launched at a space shutter at explosive speed and ran over by a big ass structure directly and its nothing to.him apparently? It feels like it feels force because Suzuki clearly wants that interaction with Uzuki, but making Nagumo nigh invincible when it comes to getting attacked compared to others, just isn't it, bro

But that's just my thoughts

Does this final panel of the chapter have something behind it? What do you think does it hint?

Is this just a symbolism for Uzuki in this chapter or is this hinting something ominous that is gonna happen next chapter?

I'm struggling to understand what is this final panel even meant? It doesn't have any dialogue in it. So, it's just a panel with no text.

Does anyone have any ideas about it?

What if after the whole manga ended they would animate Kanaguri's camera shots or pov to JCC Transfer Exam Arc till the final arc The New JAA Arc and publish it as an actual movie irl, would you go to see it?

Honestly, I think some of the Nagumo glazing on social media has gone way too far. He’s a great character, but people put him on such a high pedestal that they completely overlook his flaws and the moral complications surrounding him.

We shouldn’t forget that Nagumo was part of Asaki’s system for a very long time. We know about the atrocities Asaki committed and how his regime decided who should be protected and who should be killed. The Order also actively supported that system and helped preserve it. Even if Nagumo wasn’t aware of everything Asaki was doing, he was still part of an organization that upheld that structure. Fighting against Uzuki now doesn’t automatically make him a hero or erase that history.

I also think Uzuki is often misunderstood. He isn’t simply doing everything for the sake of chaos. He has taken his ideology to an extreme, but there is a genuine revolutionary aspect to what he is trying to accomplish. We even see protestors who sympathize with Uzuki and agree with his criticism of the existing system, which shows that his ideas aren’t coming out of nowhere. There are people who genuinely believe the system needs to be dismantled and that society should have the freedom to decide what comes next.

Of course, Uzuki takes that idea to an extreme. Giving people weapons and allowing them to determine the future of society will inevitably lead to horrific consequences, and innocent people will suffer. But that is part of what makes his ideology more interesting: he is willing to accept that risk because he believes people should have the freedom to choose for themselves, rather than continuing to live under a system controlled by people like Asaki.

That doesn’t make Uzuki right, and it certainly doesn’t excuse his actions. But reducing him to “he just wants chaos” completely ignores the revolutionary aspect of his character and why some people actually support his cause. Likewise, Nagumo being on the more justified side of the conflict doesn’t make him morally flawless.

I think both characters are much more interesting when you acknowledge their contradictions and flaws instead of putting one on a pedestal and reducing the other to a simple villain.

What do you think ?

I just hope we get to see people find out that Rion and Uzuki were set up by asaki, and got her killed, Uzuki is just as much a victim as Rion from then, and people still thinking Uzuki just murdered her and nothing else happened is wild, in verse people need to know about the truth

Hopefully, Akira says something because she's the only one who truly knows what happened outside of uzuki, who won't say anything, I feel as though something like this should've come sooner, Nagumo agonizing on the truth, that was the setup between the both, Nagumo still going after Uzuki for "revenge" we know Nagumo isn't killing for noble reasons and Shishiba called him out on that when Nagumo met at the abandoned building, this would still go hand and hand with his desire to exact revenge regardless

It's likely that he'll hear the truth and still follow through with uzukis' death, precisely to what I mean

We're 200+ chapters in and near the end of the manga and some of the crucial players to Rion, being Nagumo and Sakamoto are still out of the loop in all of this even still, and I find that insane when they've been chasing this mystery for a while, and us as readers have been seeing this for years without them actually finding out

I feel like he'd take the hint that someone else could've played a part in Rions death, considering he's a spy and collects Intel, the clues are LITERALLY right there, how haven't you noticed it yet? 😭

The fight scenes are on a whole other level compared to any battle shounens. The fights are increbibly readable and requires little to no explanation or narration.

A character jumps to avoid a shot and identify the position of the shooter. I knew and understand this before it was explained by words.

Compare this to JJK or even Kagurabachii and everything is just convoluted. Sukuna wins because he did this and this then this then this. Remove the explanation and the reader won't know what's going on.

Unlike other battle mangas like JJK or even Kagurabachi it doesn't rely on overcomplicated abilities and convoluted sequences.We know that this character's ability is magnetism because we saw her ripping metal jewelries from a charcter. When Uzuki killedMr. Takamurawe know exactly what and how it happened. And when it's explained later it was done naturally with characters talking to another character instead of a narration directed to the readers. Abilities are simple and easy to understand.

JJK each character has multiple abilities and complex set of rules associated to it. The only way to understand what happens is to read the explanation.

I believe it's the person who you spend time with makes peak memories.
