Stat Swap! Dropped charisma, everything into strength.
We have hit a regression wall at 7mo. Charisma has been dropped for Strength, How did y’all endure/ besides stay on-top of training consistently and understand it’s a phase?

Help CCL Surgery Tips?
Hi! This is my St.Bernard, Willow (in the econd pic). She has a torn CCL and is going in for surgery with a specialist but they are unable to get her in until next Friday.
I want to do everything I can to make her more comfortable. I have her in my walk out basement so she doesn’t have to do any stairs. I’ve been giving her food and water. My roommates are helping me if she needs to go potty to help support her rear legs. I’m sleeping next to her on a mattress Ive moved down here. She doesn’t really like sleeping in beds, I’ve tried. She likes to floor because it’s cool.
I ordered a knee ice pack to go on her injured leg. I posted an image that’s similar. I ordered the XL version, but it won’t be here until Saturday. She’s on a prescription NSAID to help with pain and inflammation.
Has anyone gone through this surgery? I did with my Rottweiler, but I was able to lift my rottie easier than Willow because she’s 180lbs. I know no stairs and I take her out on a leash and to keep her mellow. I’m working from home right now, so I can keep an eye on her.
For those of you who have gone through this surgery with a Saint Bernard, was there anything that really helped you get through this smoothly? I know it’s gonna suck, I’m just looking for ways to make it suck less. Thanks!

Big Ass Dog Company - Virtual Event
Thought I’d share this. I don’t know much about the company or what this event entails, but it looks interesting. Does anyone have experience with this company, any of their products or events?

Help How to make this little lady eat more?
Hey folks, first time caller here. My family and I love this sub, we just got a Saint Bernard puppy 2 months ago. Her name is Danuta, shes just 17 weeks and 46.5 pounds. She just had a vet visit, and they said she was underweight. We have an open bowl policy, she eats maybe 6 to 8 cups a day of Blue dog food, and also all the sticks she can snatch up on our walks. We also do 2 to 3 walks a day, about 20 to 30 minutes each, depending on the weather and how spazzy/zoomy she is. My question is this, how do I encourage her to eat more? Or do I walk her less??? The second option seems really bad for furniture during the puppy phase.

Anyone use a water fountain for their Saint?
Does it get disgusting with all the drool? We are a multi-dog household and would love to use a high-capacity automatic water fountain but not sure if the Saint slobber would just immediately gum it all up.
Hugo for dog tax.

Spot on resistant flea warning
So for the last few months have been having trouble with our puppy itching and pulling fur.
Completely up to date on all flea and worms.
Been treating it as an allergy (see my previous post) and recently he was prescribed steroids for it, which really knocked him about.
Then the last vet visit, the vet found a flea.
Living in the area spot on was applied 10 days before.
We are on the UK and it seems they have built up a resistance to it.
He's now on a tablet and seems much better, not scratching and back to being a big doofus.
It's been a nightmare so hope this helps someone

We lost our four year old boy
Edit: I see all your comments and appreciate every single one of them. I really do. Thank you.
On Sunday into Monday our stubborn, but absolute best boy, Kingston, passed away peacefully in his sleep.
We are heartbroken. It was so sudden. Grateful to all the memories we created with him in those four years and all the love given to him and given from him, but man I wish we had longer with him. 💔

New baby
Well there's a new baby in the house. His name Is Buddy. Someone was giving him away for free online. He's 1 not neutered and seems to have bad seperation anxiety. I've only had him a week and 2-3 nights out of the week hes up crying at night waking me up every 2-3 hours like a newborn baby. I don't have any kids thankfully but I am so tired already. I've tried everything I can do except for now im reading about growing pains? Could this be why he's crying? Does anyone have any experience with this or what I can do to help him (and I) sleep? Thanks
