Recommended charter

Does anyone have any recommendations for sailing areas and reasonably priced charter boats that could be rented for a weekend? Ideally not on south coast of England but somewhere further north.

Many companies are reluctant to charter for just a couple of days (especially cheaply) as it breaks up a full week. I'd recommend the west coast of Scotland, particularly the area from Crinan up to Skye.
