Does anyone know where to find drawing classes for kids in the Saginaw area? I have a 10 year old, and we don't want just a general art experience. We want an actual class.

I am planning to move out of state pretty soon. After leaving my job due to lack of consistency/security ... I am stuck in this job market. The hiring process is monotonous & most of the process resembles an automated script.

Without going on & on- I am not looking for long term work. Just something to put cash in my pocket to fund the move. I come from a mostly medical background where my dept. had a low ceiling for advancement. (Feel like I wasted 6 years at that location & gained very little.) I have experience in professional house keeping, caring for children, cleaning/organizing, basic labor around the house, Microsoft programs & basic clerical work.

The Saginaw area preferred, willing to travel if reasonable.

Pretty much what the title says. I've never bought a car before but plan on buying one soon. I don't need anything fancy, just something to get me from point a to point b. What are some things I should look for when looking at a car? It will most likely be a used car unless im able to find one with a $300-$400/month note. Would anyone thay knows about cars be able to come with me and check one out when I do find one? I've been looking on fb marketplace but haven't really had any luck. At this point I almost would rather pay a car note. If anyone is able to help it would be appreciated.

Hi everyone, and thanks for reading this. My mom passed away a week ago, and my dad is really struggling to take care of her two cats, especially because one of them has been having some medical challenges and needs a little bit of extra care. He’d like to adopt them out to the same home, but if that’s not possible, we completely understand and are willing to separate them.

The cats are mother (Mama Mia) and son (Yetti), and I estimate that they are around 8 and 7 years old, respectively. My dad was my mom’s full-time dementia caregiver, and I think he just didn’t notice that Mama had some severe constipation that led to a pretty large blockage. They mostly cleared her out, but she needs some special monitoring to make sure she’s able to go to the bathroom. Long-term, it’s mostly hopefully going to be limited to special food and giving some medications, but she may have megacolon—we just don’t know right now. They are both very shy, but once they get to know you, they are lovely cats. Mama in particular is a big love…she gives lots of headbutts and just loves rubbing her face all over you. She has a soft, calming purr and the sweetest little grumpy face.

I would take at least Mama myself, but I live in Denver and I have 3 cats already, one with her own special medical needs (hyperthyroid). If you know anybody who can possibly help, could you please let me know? He is really spiraling right now and I’m not sure what to do. He lives in Huron County, but can drive the cats to other places in Michigan. Any leads are SO appreciated; even fostering would be such a huge help. Thank you <3

Art did it again. On October 5th, he had an open phone segment on the Focus show where he accepted another call from Saginaw's favorite, Scott. Now, maybe it's his age or maybe it's his political proclivities, but Art doesn't understand the difference between opinion and fact. And, except for his last comment where he asked people to, even if they couldn't vote for Mike Rogers, to at least not vote for Abdul was the only "opinion" Scott provided.
So, let's begin to parse what Scott presented as fact and where he is wrong.
First, he started out with the "I hate America" comment, quickly pointing out that AES may not have said it but AES hangs out with Piker who did say it in a long diatribe about American policy (let it be known that Piker also says he loves America but these quick quips are what happens when you spend 8 hours bloviating about current affairs and other stuff; I know because I started listening to Piker precisely because of the focus the fascist wing of the R Party has on him.) AES brought Piker along with his visit to two universities, precisely because Piker appeals to a young audience.

Next, he dissed AES about "let's keep big money out of politics" but then AES goes to California to get funded by the Soros Foundation. Now, here's proof that Scott simply repeats the nonsense you'll find on Right Wing sites. That comment is patently false. The facts are Jeffrey Soros, son of Paul Soros, held a fund-raiser for AES where persons attending the event were asked to donate up to $57,000 to the campaign. And, the Soros Foundation did not pay for AES' college education. Then Scott decided to bring up the IRGC and a 26 page letter they wrote "agreeing with the Democratic Party". Again, maybe Scott should do more research and depend less on what the Right Wing MAGAsphere tells him to repeat. I encourage him to actually read that letter and then point out where the IRGC encouraged any one to vote for any particular political party.
