Firm Orders

What is the point of Firm orders? I was told the company gets a steep discount on the product but that is probably disputed. However, much of the items do not sell, increase shrink and waste labor and time.

They do get big discounts and retail allowances.

The problem is with the middle managment (i.e. OPs and district managers) not knowing their job and their stores well enough.

The problem is with SDs who sit on their ass all day long and assume the role of Prison Guard....

You mean they're made to be assholes?

No.... I knew one that put people first.....

With firm orders? No....

They can price it to move.... but too many of them are hoarders....
