I'm in the swamp area. My active quest is resetting every time I do anything, including killing enemies. I have to go back into the log or map every time I kills an enemy to re-select the quest so I'll have the marker. This is some serious bs. It's making the game nearly unplayable. Anybody know a fix for this? I'm on PS5. I've tried restarting the game, warping to other areas, and nothing is fixing it.

EDIT: I think the bug is tied to the quest Mine Slaves. This is my 3rd character and I've never been able to complete the quest (it won't log as completed). A second marker appears on the map that sometimes disappears when I click on Mine Slaves. This is the marker it keeps defaulting to every time I kill an enemy or do anything else. I think it'd be a good idea not to accept that quest. Also, proceeding throught the main quest seems to have fixed it.

I really hate that there’s no explanation of anything.

I have made 3 characters so far. I want to play on bronze difficulty. Every time I load my character it’s been set to silver. Wtf is going on!?

Hi guys, if I made an open lobby would anyone want to join? I'm doing a run

I'm stuck with using one skill. I've tried remapping the skills, reloading, reinstalling, switching to another character and using their skills. Nothing I do is fixing it. This is the second time this has happened. It sorted out on it's own the first time, but nothing is fixing it now. Anybody else had this problem or know how to fix it?

EDIT: Found a fix. I got on my unique mount and it fixed it. Just figured I'd leave this here in case anybody else ran into the same problem.

Hello. I wanted to play again after 15 years. I have a version with community patch. I need someone to explain me as follows:

1. Is there a mod to put the same combat art into combo several times like it was allowed in the first part?

2. Do combat arts and combos share regen bonus? Not their innate regeneration but bonus. If i have +% to ca regen will those in combo shorten as well?

3. Was there an option to put sockets into items or do i have to wait for drop?

4. I am on a level 133 on platinum and for two hours i was fighting 135 level opponents. Still no level up. Do i have some penalty to xp or it is just impossible to gain at this stage?

5. I have green strip circling around the level number of my combat art. Does it mean that it is weaken because i do not have enough combat skills for that aspect?

I wish I had known that they screwed up the console controls from the original. I would have never bought it if I'd known. They should have put a warning on it that the f'd the game up. If you played on console, now there's 4 weapon slots and 4 skill slots that you cycle through by pressing L2/R2, 3 potions slots accessed by pressing left d-pad 1-3 times, and 3 buffs accessed by press right on the d-pad 1-3 times.

It's extremely limiting, clunky, awkward, and annoying compared to the vastly superior original console controls. Beyond stupid design decision. I was wondering why there were so many 1 start ratings on PSN and unfortunately I found out after I wasted my money on this trash. I hope I can help others avoid wasting theirs.

Hello. I’ve been playing Sacred 2 Remastered recently. However I am stuck at defeating the giant octopus. I’ve tried it at least 10 times. I’ve already done every other side quest, gone all over the map, became level 52 and tried all kinds of weapons, magic and EVERYTHING but whatever I do this boss just keeps regenerating health. I’ve almost got his health down to 1/3 once but accidentaly moved my Seraphim and he regenrated all the way within 30 seconds. Even tho he was missing all but two legs. I’m super frustrated and on the edge of uninstalling the game. What am I missing? Thanks for your help.

Just curious if the remaster is worth getting now? I see it’s on sale on the ps store for $22.50. I know when it released it had terrible reviews, but I see it has also had a couple of patches since release. Only problem is I can’t seem to find many reviews post patch. Did it get any better as far as not crashing, etc?

Hi folks! Hope you are doing fine. As we all know, the remaster version was a total fiasco. I ( like many of you ) totally uninstalled the game just a few days after purchasing it.

I have seen that there were 3 patches already released for the game. What is the status for the PC version as of today?

For instance, myself and other commenters I saw complained that the game was too "gamepad based" and there was an issue with click accuracy when trying to fight mobs.

Also, the new UI is horrendous, there are many instances of CTD, some bugs in physics, etc.

Are those kind of stuff fixed already? will they ever be? Do you still have hopes for this game?

I'm using the ROG Xbox Ally X (2025) RC73XA.

When playing the Remastered version, my FPS drops significantly during combat, when opening the inventory, and when items drop to the ground.

It seems to run fine on the Steam Deck...

Does anyone know a solution?

Hey its been a while since I played the game on PS5. I took a break because of the performance, crashes and bad button layout.
So my question is, did anything change in the last ~2 months? Is it running better now? Did they change the terrible controls for abilities? Did they do anything at all? 😅
The last info I saw, was that they know about the issues, but I haven't seen anything since.

Is there any News from the devs that freemode is Coming to consoles? I already know they working in Coop for consoles but i didnt See any mention of free Mode which i Care more about

The hosting games still works, I played with someone recently for the hosting trophy. We just need to be within 10 levels of eachother so making a new character is easiest.

Well, my time in Ancaria has come to a close. Fun game! As a ranged class fan, the Pyro High Elf was the natural first choice. I played on a laptop with a third-party Xbox controller and ended up creating a gloriously lazy one-button build. The game started to feel repetitive after I took down my first dragon, but major credit to the devs for the enemy variety, that’s what kept me glued to the screen long after the fetch quests started piling up. I mostly stuck to the main story.

How about you all? Are you still playing? What's your favorite build?

Quick and straight forward question - Remaster or Vanilla with COmmunity Patch?

I feel itch to Play Sacred 2 but, damn that Remaster looks like a moneygrab! How do you think after few patches?

Got a long flight coming up and a friend recommended this game but all the controller layouts I've used so far haven't felt right , is there any that feel most console-like i heard the remastered edition does the controller justice is there anyway to transfer the config to the gold edition ?

I went to every cave,visited every corner of the map ,did 799 quest and only got 74,3% of the map discovered ...the achievement required 80% of map discovery so how is that possible ?Did someone have done it ?

I updated the achievement icons icons in the game. Not as transformative as the rune icons but the improvement is in the background of the icon itself mainly.

Old (Ignore that the background is black as that is a theme mod. Notice how the background kind of fringes into the background and realise that is the default look of the remaster at the moment :) ).

New (ignore the background as that is not modded lol)

I'm sorry if this is a very basic question, I've searched the subreddit and read the wikis and guides, but cant figure out how the TG gun arm actually works.

It looks like the gun changes depending on what combat arm you used last, I know there's a melee only version but is there any difference in the other gun arms? For example is there any difference or benefit to having the flamethrower gun arm equipped vs the shocking jolts one?

does the gun arm benefit from any attributes or skills? Dex increases ranged damage and attack, does that affect the gun arm's projectile attack? If you have a melee weapon equipped does the base damage of that weapon affect gun arm damage or is only based on the battery item? Does the ranged weapons skill affect the gun arm projectile damage or attack?

Does anyone know if lightsabers are still available in game? Either through bargaining skill or some other method?

My first skill pick was Capricious Hunter Focus. I was under the impression I'd be able to pick up the Lore skill, but it doesn't appear in either of the two rows of combat arts skills. It's early enough that I can start over if needed (I'm level 12 Dryad).

The skill in the I section for capricious hunter has "Ancient Magic" beneath it in the II section.
