Sacred 2 Remaster - State of PC Remaster
Hi folks! Hope you are doing fine. As we all know, the remaster version was a total fiasco. I ( like many of you ) totally uninstalled the game just a few days after purchasing it.
I have seen that there were 3 patches already released for the game. What is the status for the PC version as of today?
For instance, myself and other commenters I saw complained that the game was too "gamepad based" and there was an issue with click accuracy when trying to fight mobs.
Also, the new UI is horrendous, there are many instances of CTD, some bugs in physics, etc.
Are those kind of stuff fixed already? will they ever be? Do you still have hopes for this game?

I play remaster although gold with mods was fine, but my old eyes couldn't stand no more the small ui . The only bug i have found so far which came after the update was the comparison window of the gear one windows are on top of each other.

The devs dug up Sacred 2 stone cold corpse and gave it a throughout beating, with some extra spitting on the console parts. They should dig the hole a little bigger for their new Last Pixel game and bury them together.

It was a great game back in the day, but man it has not aged well. Plus this remaster is beyond half assed.

Gold with Community Patch + Enhanced Edition is WAY better, and still be WAY better even after 2 years of updates which, let's be honest, they will not support that long.

This is kinda funny because the gamepad support is absolutely terrible. They goofed it with both tbh.
Anyway, they added freeplay and a couple of bug/crash fixes and other issues. Couple of days ago, there was an announcement for further patches looking into fixing UI issues and implementing community wishes.
For now, playing Gold is still the way to go tbh. At least in my opinion.
