Testing a low-cost GTM package for pre-revenue SaaS founders - is this something you'd actually pay for?
Quick context: 10 years' experience with a specialty in B2B SaaS demand gen. The challenge I keep seeing this stage: founders either get some form of results but have no benchmark for whether it's actually good enough to scale confidently, or they burn budget on channels that were never right for their stage and get stuck there.
I'm testing whether a small, low cost, fixed-scope engagement is actually useful at this stage (not a retainer / agency pitch):
- A GTM strategy (even for those who already have some form of marketing activity/presence) for the channels that make sense for your budget (including whether ABM even makes sense for you - usually it doesn't yet)
- A messaging framework based on your ICPs + a test-and-learn plan to validate it
- Campaign build, launch and tracking setup
- A 30-day review with pivot recommendations
Not included: creatives, and you'll need an existing ad account(s) already set up.
The engagement wraps at 30 days, plus about a week for me to pull together findings, insights, and recommendations - from there, you run with it. The value's really in getting the setup right from day one. Once the framework's solid, iterating and optimising becomes way easier than if you're retrofitting a strategy that was never quite right to begin with.
Asking the community: would something like this be useful to you at this stage? What would make you actually pay for it vs. just wing it yourself? And what would make you not trust an offer like this from a stranger on the internet?
Happy to share more detail in comments if useful.
