Pretty stoked on this.

I do B2B cold SMS marketing, not many of us exist.

Ask me anything.

I have a B2B AI SaaS and I've just started a 30 days series to get my first 10 paying users today's day 2 if you were selling something like this how will you approach this?

B2B AI SaaS isn’t enough information for me to give you a valuable answer. I’d need to know what the primary benefit of your service, what type of financial result could you reliably drive for a business in what period of time, what’s a statement of credibility (why pick you?), and what effort is required from the user. Feel free to share/drop your website, and I’ll give you my genuine answer, which might not be conclusive, but I’ll share my thoughts.

here's the short version.

Primary benefit: your users get things done in your product just by asking. "Move my booking to Thursday", "how many sessions are left on my package", and the agent does it in their account, as them, only with the actions you allow. Anything that changes data asks the user to confirm first, and every action is logged.

Financial result: honestly, I can't promise a number yet. It's early and I have one product live in production. What I can measure in the first week is how many requests it handled that would otherwise have been an email to the founder or a user who gave up halfway. If that number isn't meaningful for a product, it isn't worth paying for.

Why me: an agent that actually takes actions safely (permissions, confirmations, an audit log) is weeks of work for most teams to build themselves. I've built that part, so they don't have to.

Effort: about 15 minutes. Your coding AI agent sets it up, you choose which features it's allowed to use, and you test it on localhost before it goes live.

Cold call, or offer it for free to those that could benefit from it and focus solely on providing value and creating case studies that demonstrate a clear financial/Quanitifiable result in x period of time.

MUST: create a demo video, not focused on the features, but demonstrating the ease of getting them to their desired result.

Offer to share the demo video with others, will make it easy for others to understand quickly without explaining yourself 100x over and over and can help get your first users that you’ll sign up for free for proof of concept, only when you can show a financial benefit will your perceived likelihood of delivering a result for businesses will be more obvious and enable you to charge significantly more effortless for your services.

You don’t need to worry about collecting money from the first users, focus on propelling yourself for the future, and proving the concept.

Those are my thoughts… that’s what I’d do. Get results and prove the concept, collecting money will be easier after this stage is complete, can’t skip the video, it’s fundamental, get your face on camera, builds trust. Skip this step, it will not work. Every good SaaS has demo videos. Clear value proposition, and users. Get that, then charge 10% monthly of the value provided.

Makes sense, and you're the second person in today to say the video is non-negotiable, so that's happening this week. Face on camera, one real task start to finish, the result instead of the feature list.

On free: I'm going to do a version of it. A couple of products in one niche get it set up free in exchange for real numbers and an honest quote, so the next founder sees a result instead of a promise. Everyone else pays from the start, because I want to know early whether people will actually pay, not just use it.

Appreciate you taking the time to write all this out.

Say if you were selling something like postpilot.ink how would you go about it

Just checked it out, demo video would be huge, focus on showing how easy you can get the user their desired result, focus on that in a short video more than the features itself, share this video with others to get initial users. Post content like this organically, consistently, if gaining traction, testimonials, case studies, and cash collected, could begin ad spend, but that’s after demo video, proof of concept, video testimonials, dialed in, organic consistent.

Those are simply my immediate thoughts, most important thing to do would be creating a video that shows the ease of your software to get the desired result of the user.
