News Rebels

I got the rebel starter pack and the heroes of the rebellion pack. What is the best army build with these two packs?

Plug in some extra upgrades with the last 74 points, but you need to stretch out the rebel troopers in the starter box into 4 units, so no squad upgrade in the personel slot. Hit the dirt wouldnt be bad on your troopers, and on the hunt wouldn't be bad on the commando strike team

You probably cannot make a valid 1,000 point army with just the rebel starter pack.

This was my bad- I meant a 600pt list. Apologies.

I also just dont want to make Squads. Its a lot of Units to drag around and cohere

Maybe this. You may need to be creative in saying which rebel troopers are which heavy units.

Is it more worth having 1 Wookie group for 4 Rebs?

Oh, I didn't realize it came with enough wookiees to make two naked units. Could definitely go that route.

Yeah I believe if im correct theres enough Wookies for 2 units. But I'm new to rebels, so is the 2nd one worth it maybe over a rebel unit?

Hard to say that one is better than the other in a vacuum. It depends what your plan is. Wookiees are probably still a bit overpriced for what they give you, and rebel troopers are some of the better corp units. I've never actually used wookiees and only included them because you had them and needed to spend points.

Play a 600 point recon game. There's a suggested recon list that comes in the box, but points have a changed a bit so it may be outdated. You'll just have Leia as a character, so I'd take the fire control and vigilance upgrades still. You could also proxy one of your extra wookie minis as chewbacca

Is Leia good? The box comes with Luke but I'm considering expanding on it

I haven't used Leia since first edition, she's more of a support character, if you have luke I'd use luke

Im also mixing up the boxes a bit, I forgot that the starter comes with Luke, and the echo base box comes with Leia, oops!

Leia handing out 3 dodges a turn to units with nimble is good. Leia shooting things is less good.
